The Bridger family was a respected line of pureblood Ravenclaws. The family was a line of powerful wizards and witches, every child always being a wizard or witch. The line continued for many years. This was until Lorelei's mother met her father and had Lorelei.
☼ Pre-Hogwarts History ☼
Lorelei Bridger-Dixon was born on June 21, 2008 in San Francisco, California. Her mother, Allison Bridger, had moved there after graduating from Hogwarts as a Hufflepuff. There, she met a office worker named Thomas Dixon. The two got married, and had a child. Lorelei had a normal life, being raised among muggles. Her mother never told her father the fact that she was a witch, and even hoped of containing Lorelei's magic and keeping it secret, for she wanted a muggle life, which is why she moved to America. This kicked her out of the Bridger family, and she was outcasted and removed from their family tree.
When Lorelei was three, her mother and father headed out to buy groceries. She was left with her babysitter, Penelope Harwin. Her mother and father never returned however, they got in a car accident on the way there, and didn't make it. Lorelei didn't understand this as a child, so she wasn't upset. Nowadays, she doesn't like to talk about her parent's death.
A month after her parent's death, once everything was worked out, she was sent to Bridgend, Wales to live with her aunt, Annabelle Bridger, an esteemed witch. Annabelle had a son, Zachary Bridger, who grew up with Lorelei. They became best friends, and looked out for each other wherever they went.
As for her parents and knowledge of magic, her aunt made sure she was aware of it. Being an outcast of the family, Lorelei was taught that her mother was a villain, and not to think of her or her father. Lorelei was raised knowing all about magic, and told she would be sent to Hogwarts to join her ancestors as a Ravenclaw.

It was a cold winter that year, and the snow was thick. Her and her aunt had started a garden after her parents died, to soothe the pain of all the changes. They had bonded greatly over the garden, and Lorelei cared much about it. And so, when the plants started dying in the chilly cold, Lorelei couldn't help but get upset. This caused her magic to surface and heal the plants.
