PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION.

Lennox, at her core, has a heart of gold. Once an extremely anxious and sheltered child, she has begun to grow into herself, becoming more confident in creating her own path and reclaiming her power after years of being worried about what others think. That being said, she's having trouble manifesting that. Soft-spoken at first meeting, Lennox may push herself into introducing herself to you, but not without an internal dialogue running at a hundred kilometers per hour, nervous about saying or doing the wrong thing. She wears her heart on her sleeve, and because of that, is prone to overthinking, but has found since coming to Hogwarts that she's a lot more self-assured than she once was; able to rationalize and even speak up when she feels she's been done wrong, or push herself to become more extroverted - approaching others first, initiating friendships, and combatting her internal struggle with feeling like a charity case.
Once she pushes through her nerves, and once your relationship moves past acquaintanceship, Lennox is fiercely loyal, with a high emotional intelligence - she's often known to stand up for her friends, and can read a person's emotions quite easily - she's known for giving good advice, being a nice shoulder to cry on, a listener, and always finding the best way to try and cheer you up (even if it means ruminating in emotions). When she likes you, she loves you, but when she feels she's been hurt by you, or if you get off on the wrong foot - good luck trying to set your path again. She will always speak her mind, and if she dislikes you, she will have no trouble showing you. She can hold a grudge for quite a while, and to her, it's her biggest fault; as she despises conflict. Lennox enjoys being on the sidelines, much rather than being in the spotlight. She would much rather help her friends succeed and be able to celebrate with them from off-stage, able to disappear and reappear when she feels like it.

INTERESTS AND HOBBIES.

Lennox is a dedicated creative - she loves art fiercely, with all of her being. When possible, she often escapes into the world of creativity - her preferred mediums being drawing, painting, floral arrangement, and writing (though she is attempting to learn some muggle instruments underneath her parents' noses). An academic at heart, she loves to learn - whether that's a new hobby or skill, or more book-and-quill, she loves knowledge and understanding the way things work. She is very interested in the study of Muggles, as she grew up separate of the muggle world, unable to truly understand what their lives were like. Her most recent Muggle interest is their technology - having learned about computers from her classmate, Joey Short, she has been invested in seeing how their information is spread.
Her other interests are simple - Lennox loves the outdoors, and gardening. Though she herself doesn't play, Lennox is an avid Quidditch fan (a proud Chudley Cannons fan, if you must know), and loves a good game of Wizard's Chess. She is thoroughly invested in learning more about cosmetics, and hopes to use that as another means of self-expression.

Reducio Allegra Knightley (nee Crowell) Allegra Crowell was born and raised in St-Jean-de-Luz, France as part of the prestigious pureblood Crowell lineage. When of the age to do so, Allegra attended the Académie de Magie Beauxbâtons, or Beauxbatons Academy of Magic, and made her family proud when she was sorted into Ombrelune. Allegra had a sort of reserved nature to her growing up, but truly came out of her shell her third year, when she found herself catching the eye of many of her classmates, a blonde bombshell if you'd ever heard of one. As she grew older, she become a free spirit - though always ready to make her parents proud of their golden child, she loved the feeling of fearlessness - she was known to say yes to any new experience, ready to take on what the world had to offer. While at Beauxbatons, she fell in love with a boy by the name of Marc Wildhawk canonically the father of @Lauren Wildhawk, and spent many happy years with him until they split their seventh year. Post-graduation, Allegra found herself attending many elite social gatherings hosted by her father, who was higher-up in The Bureau de la Justice Magique, the Bureau of Magical Justice; her family's attempt to have her married off to a well-meaning, high-prestige Pureblood man. This is where she would meet Munroe Knightley - a man she, at first, had no intentions with, other than one fate-filled night. Soon after, Allegra fell pregnant, and before she could hit the 2nd trimester, they were wed. Allegra officially emigrated to England in the spring of 2008, mere months before baby Lennox arrived. Though Allegra knew she would never have chosen Munroe, his family, or this life if it was of her own accord, she absolutely adored Lennox; her pride and joy. She would eventually take a job in the Ministry of Magic's Department of Magical Transportation, if for no other reason than to find ways to spend time away from her husband; exhausted of balancing the smoke-and-mirrors on their picture-perfect facade.

Reducio Munroe Knightley Munroe Knightley had lived a life of privilege and luxury - his father being one of the richest, most prestigious men in England's magic circle. Munroe was born to two pureblood parents, and thus began a life of strong blood-ties, and continued beliefs that he stood above others. Munroe was proudly sorted into Slytherin at eleven, completing a family line that had went back generations (though his estranged aunt, Theodora, had disappointed the family with a Gryffindor sorting many years ago). His life at Hogwarts consisted of picking on students, and a superiority complex that only comes with having parents who will always answer to your beck and call. The one gripe Munroe always had was anger - if he were ever wound up enough, his outbursts could only be characterized as rage. He was a known womanizer, and left his 7th year with a quick climb into a position in the Ministry of Magic's Department of International Magical Law. Munroe would meet Allegra at a party one of his diplomats, Mr. Francis Crowell, hosted. They would share one night together, though Munroe had fallen for her the minute he laid eyes on her beautiful blue ones. However, he knew it was a love unrequited, which, angered the man who had never had to fight for anything. It seemed he wouldn't have to when she fell pregnant, which, due to the concerns of both the Crowells' and the Knightleys' images, created a quick path to marriage. He had never really felt anything for his daughter - she was purely a reminder that Allegra was only with him because she had to be, which turned his outbursts into his personality - a miserable, angry man who hated everyone - especially his loveless family. When he was not home, he would often spend time at the bars in Knockturn Alley - enraged by the way his wife never truly seemed to be under his grasp.

Lennox was born out of wedlock - a fact she wouldn't learn until the summer after her second year, when she had pushed her father's buttons too far in an argument they had gotten into when he was yet again to be "out on business" for her thirteenth birthday. her parents had always had a loveless marriage, with her parents seemingly arguing about just about everything under the sun. Lennox had always fallen under her mother's wing - though Allegra was never really great at the traditional sense of motherhood, they had always had good fun when her father went away on business - painting murals they inevitably scrubbed out of the walls the night before her father came home, her mother trying (and failing miserably) to bake a birthday cake from scratch every year - those were the moments Lennox cherished. She had never really understood how someone as generally pleasant and well-meaning as her mother could end up with a nasty old bloke like her father.
Lennox's father was a completely different story - Lennox knew that he didn't quite enjoy her, but it pained her too much to think that a father could downright hate their own child. Ever since she could remember, he had always been on her case - about her magic, what House she'd be sorted into, what she would do for a career... it was incessant. When Lennox was sorted into Ravenclaw, she received a scathing owl from her father - reprimanding her for not holding the values of Slytherin in her heart, for being a smear on the Knightley name. Things did get better, but he never apologized. Lennox didn't enjoy her father, but thankfully, never dealt with him much - working in International Magic kept him away whenever she seemed to be home from school, and her mother always seemed to find things to do together when he was home - almost as if she was trying to keep her distance. Lennox didn't mind - she secretly hoped her mother would someday find the courage and leave the man neither of them were too keen on.

FIRST MAGIC.

Maybe being a late bloomer contributed to the ever-failing relationship between herself and her father, but Lennox's first magic arrived in the mere months before her 11th birthday. After years and years of nothing, around the age of 6, her father began to pick on her, trying to scare her or upset her enough that she would have the known "first magic", something reactionary that they could use as concrete proof that she would be a witch. At age 10, her mother was joining in - seemingly out of worry that her daughter would, in fact, end up a Squib and be doomed to torment from her father and a life that neither parent could fathom: a life spent adapting to Muggle culture.
Lennox hated this pressure - it contributed vastly to her anxieties and fear of being inferior. So, on that fateful spring day, after she had tracked mud into the house, it was a relief that after a scolding from her parents, she began to cry. When the scolding persisted, her tears turned to anger, and a glass - placed on the table on the opposite side of the room - flew across the space and smashed into the wall, spattering glass and water onto the floor. Her parents both sighed in relief, and it was the first time Lennox had ever seen her father seem proud of her. She never knew if the reason she kept crying was truly because she had been upset by the shouting, or if it was relief that she wouldn't continue to be a burden on the family name - that just this once, she seemed to have been able to do the right thing.
