Rowenna is a girl's name meaning 'slender and fair'. This is Lily's mother's name, passed down to be Lily's middle name.

Cawthi
Cawthi is Lily's surname. Her family are descended from the famous Bennetts, who are a well-known wizarding family. Lily got her magical blood from the Bennetts, but it died out over the years, making her family muggles.

Lily has short, chestnut brown hair that she wears tucked behind a yellow headband. She cut it when she was eight, not wanting to be like anyone else in her family. This was passed down from her father.

Younger sister
Lily's eight year old younger sister, Pansy Minerva Cawthi, has long, straight black hair, worn in pigtails and deep blue eyes. She usually wears wears a light blue polo shirt and a dark skirt. Her birthday is May 23rd, whilst Lily is still at Hogwarts.

Younger brother
Lily's seven year old younger brother, Hilda Owain Cawthi, has short, black hair and green eyes. He usually wears a black t-shirt and a pair of dark trousers or a pair of dark shorts. His birthday is July 14th, not long after Lily returns home for the summer.

BACKSTORY

Lily’s parents own a cafe on the outskirts of Cardiff. Although Lily did not seem out of the ordinary, she never fitted in at school and was distant from everyone. Her younger sister, Pansy Cawthi, is eight. Pansy is a bright, beautiful little girl who always sees the best in everyone, with black hair usually tied in pigtails with blue ribbons at the bottom, to match her eyes. Lily also has a six year old brother, named Hilda. He is caring and clumsy, never putting things back in the right place. He has short dark hair and hazel eyes. One day, he really annoyed her by putting her books on the shelves the wrong way, and she accidentally set fire to the bookshelf. She got even more cross at him and blamed him for making her do it. She instantly apologized but he still cried. However, nobody believed her, even with the word of Hilda. She slowly began to accept the fact that it did not really happen, that it was just a dream, until her letter came. Everyone was surprised, even her. Her siblings are both wanting to go to Hogwarts, just like her. However, Pansy’s bravery is sure to earn her Griffindor. Hilda is likely to be a Ravenclaw, always being top of the class in everything at school, despite his clumsiness.
