Mildred Wilson was born on August 4, 2008. From the moment she was born her path was already set, to be the heir to her father's company. Her father, Alec Wilson created his very own shipping company located in their home village in Dalwhinnie, Scotland. Soon, his company grew far beyond his imaginations, branching off to ship worldwide. The company was soon mainly known for its cheap prices and reasonable shipping times, The company had also gained an almost perfect reputation; However, Mildred's father was far from perfect, he was known to be a ruthless man who had very little patience for others. It was quite a spectacle when Alec married Mildred's mother, Aileana Stewart. newspapers were mass-produced, many wondered how two opposites could end up together, Aileana was nothing like Alec, gentle and fresh as spring she was very nurturing and kind to others. They both knew they couldn't live forever and knew they needed an heir, thus Mildred was born.

Mildred was born in Dalwhinnie, Scotland which was a small village, living in such a small place had its disadvantages and advantages. First off, everyone seemed to know each other! and if for some reason you were new and just moved in, everyone would have met and befriended you within two days maximum. This was also great in its own way because if her parents needed something they would know who to go to automatically, however, this also meant whenever some sort of event went down, everyone knew. If someone fought someone else, the whole town knew and so on. Dalwhinnie was also known as one of the coldest villages in the UK, with the average temperature being 6.6 °C, however, this was also one of Mildred's distinct memory of home, she would often walk with her parents in the cold and drink various warm beverages, plus of course the multitude of snow-days she had!

From an early age, Mildred's parents had her partake in a variety of hobbies ranging from; swimming, piano, and even fencing although these were just the gust of it, her schedule was always jam-packed. She often felt as if she didn't have any time to breathe. it was always straight off to another task, tutoring first of course then it was off to piano lessons, or even more tutoring.

Mildred soon became a very quiet girl plus, it didn't help how many at school didn't like her due to how she was top of her class. Some did try to befriend her although, in the end, Mildred learned that they just wanted to use her for homework answers or how many knew Mildred was the sole heir to her father's company. There were a few that were genuinely interested in Mildred and not for her school work, or her father's company however due to her overwhelming schedule she did not have the time to further their friendships, in the end, she decided that it was best if she endorsed herself into her studies and nothing else.

Her parent's expectations began to build-up, at one point Mildred's tutors were complaining how she was often distracted and not doing so well in her studies, this deeply upset Mildred as she knew she tried her absolute best to please her parents by pouring herself into her studies. One faithful night, Her parents came in carrying her recent test results, the burning red mark of "F" screamed at her, they both scolded her and simply agreed that she was slipping and spent too much time playing when Mildred knew that she rarely even had the time to play with others. They both concluded more tutoring this deeply upset Mildred and she ended up feeling deep anger, for who she wondered. was it herself? for simply always playing along for her parents like a puppet, or was it for her parents? for not understanding her. She ended up screaming "Why! you both never listen to me!" this resulted in her school work flying up and scattering throughout the entire room. Soon afterward, her parents told her all about Hogwarts and how she would be admitted there where she would study the arts and crafts of magic.
