The Sneks Arrive

{ This thread is open to any Slytherin students and Professors. You may split off from the group if you wish to. You may watch from the stands with your family or with Professor Risa, or go outside the stadiums. You may join or start your own threads too. }
Hjørdis stood silently as she looked around the scene in front of her. Portkeys had been set up for students, taking them to the Quidditch Stadium in London to watch one of the Quarterfinals. She did not like this much. There was something a little nerving about taking so many students out of the castle or leaving the castle with less staff guarding it. Her former job was perhaps the reason she was here. Her ability to fight, protect and heal were essential parts of her resume. They were excellent attributes in times of concern. The infamous mask was definitely one of these times of concern. She hesitated at the idea of taking the Slytherin students out of the castle and opening them up to more risk. There simply weren't enough staff to watch over them. And whilst she wanted to trust that they were responsible enough to stay out of trouble, they were also as young as eleven and children were sometimes just children.
Besides, it was not them that she did not trust. It was everyone else around them that caused her to worry more. If someone had made the effort of stealing the mask and putting it onto a first year, forcing him to do their bidding then this person clearly did not care for morality or ethics. This person, however it had been, was clearly willing to endanger the lives of young children for apparently no reason. Hjørdis had no idea why this was happening or what exactly was going on, but she was determined to find out.
The Slytherin Head of House stood in the common room, overseeing the groups of students that had arrived. They were all expected to be there on time. Any straddlers would simply be left behind. Hjørdis glanced over the room, giving them an extra five minutes to show up. Once it looked like everyone was present, the female addressed the room. Her tone of voice was mostly devoid of emotion but still managed to hold a level of authority and seriousness to it. She was not in the mood to play games today. It was a matter of their safety, whether or not they chose to believe it. "I believe we're all here now, so I'll say this only once..." Hjørdis started. Her voice was not very loud, she did not feel the need to shout over the chattering children. They would settle down and listen to her, if they knew what was good for them. Her stature apparently intimidated a lot of them as it were, "Today, we'll be visiting the Quidditch Stadium in London. Portkeys have been set up for this special occasion. As you may already know, we'll be watching the quarterfinals between South Africa and Moldova." She introduced the day's activities to the students that had gathered there today.
"I expect you are all aware of how to behave?" She hypothetically questioned the group of students. They had better be aware of how to behave in this situation. She was not one to babysit mischievous little children, after all, and would have no tolerance for such nonsense, "For your own safety, you will listen to the Professors and Prefects, stay together and behave appropriately. Remain in your seats once the game has started. If you need to leave for any reason, ensure you tell a member of staff. If you are joining your family, make sure you inform Professor Risa before you go and find them quickly. Do not travel alone. If you need to go to find your family or go to the washroom, take a friend with you. If, for any reason, you get lost or are alone, cast a 'Verdimillious' spell above your head so we can find you." She explained to them, decidedly treating them like children for once, "Partner up with someone or get into groups now and stick with them throughout the day."
Hjørdis waited a brief moment for everyone to acknowledge her words so she knew they were paying attention. "Right, now, gather around. This broom is a temporary portkey. Grab hold of it. Do not let go, unless you want to remain at Hogwarts. If you can't get hold of the broom itself then hold onto someone who is. When we arrive in London, I expect you all to be on your best behaviours. I will be returning to Hogwarts once I've taken you all there. Professor Risa will be in charge of the event, ensure you follow her instructions. Right, ready? Let's go."
The Head of Slytherin nodded over to Professor Risa, the Professor of History of Magic, to indicate that she would be in charge of the students in her absence. Hjørdis had to return to Hogwarts, after all. However, she would try to pop in after some hours to make sure they were okay. With a short countdown, the portkey immediately started to transport all those that grasped the broom to London's Quidditch Stadium. It was time for the Quidditch World Cup's Quarterfinal game to begin...
{ You may post here interacting with the portkey, watch the game with Aoi Risa, go meet family or friends outside the stadium or set up your own threads as you wish that take place during the South Africa vs. Moldova game }
