[13] Santario Martin
[30] Calvon Faux
[31] Tyranni Whitethorn

Group 8
[3] Jack Burnett
[17] Dmitri Jones
[21] Ruby Cazares
[22] Erik Tharldson

Amara, Santario and Tyranni have been active, invested members of the Slytherin community. Calvon was an unknown, possibly even an evil spy as nobody would recognize the small boy. They were separated from their friends and from their familiar resources. They might have known of one another but they did not know each other very well. Not yet in any case.

Erik was ready to fight. Already stripped down (probably) and perhaps a distraction for the ladies (and men) on the other team and unfortunately possibly his own. There would be those dark marks, numerous scattered about his body. Like cancerous sores that tried to spread, they marred his otherwise pristine body. The boy had no shame after being left in his underpants in the common room the day he nearly died.

His team was stacked well, except for Jack Burnett. Was that purposeful, placing the boy that would rather talk than fight in the midst of a pair of alpha males. Erik an alpha of his small pack, Dmitri the quiet, ruthless alpha male of his year (sorry other year 3's). Ruby was not bad either. Jack had a good chance of getting far , especially since in the first match they were facing off against a pair of passivists, an almost first year and a girl who might be able to hold her own but not against superior numbers.

Victor would make his way into the ring yet again. The crowd riled from what they had already seen. "Thank you. Thank you. This has been an entertaining night I am certain. The last groups for this rung, please enter. Number six, number thirteen..." his voice trailed off as he took a long look at her. "Wonder why Gideon, Abbandon and Loralei put so much down on you and why they want me to say that out loud?" An inflection of a question, the boy did not quite understand what he was being asked to say but he did it all the same. He let out a wicked sounding laugh to follow. This was a show, the boy was trying with a face even his mother would have rejected. However, San would know those names and what those names together meant. Nothing good. *Cue tragic backstory*

"Thirty and thirty one. You will be facing off against Jack." Why did he get a name when nobody else did? "Seventeen, twenty one and twenty two," he continued not noticing his own mistake.

For those that play:
  • 3 actions. Pick your targets clearly.
  • Please only state one conditional if you place a conditional. A conditional is a statement where you use IF. For instance, if Sarah is knocked out then target Bob. There is a lot of you and multiple actions to moderate. With too many conditionals it becomes chaos.
  • Order of operations: everyone's first attack is rolled for and resolved first, then the second attack and so on. So attacks that cause an effect will take place immediately after they have been inflicted.
  • Attacks in the action order are considered to have went off simultaneously. So you can knock each other out.
Solomon Lear wrote: 13 Jun 2020, 01:14 Punches
Cross Punch: A direct straight punch similar to the jab, except delivered with the rear hand. Power is generated through the rotation of the hips.

Effect: Attacks a single target at +0 accuracy for 25 damage * strength modifier.
Jab: The jab is a straight blow delivered (generally from a distance) with the arm above the lead foot ... The punch is quick and explosive. This punch must land from the very tips of the knuckles and not from a flat fist. " It is generally used for distraction, keeping distance, setting up, and defense.

Effect: Attacks a single target at +4 accuracy for 23 * strength modifier.
Backfist: A backfist is performed by forming a fist and striking with the backside of the fist.

Effect: Attacks a single target at -4 accuracy for 27 * strength modifier.
Spinning Backfist: A spinning backfist is performed when the attacker swivels 360 degrees before landing the punch, adding extra momentum to the attack. The fighter will lunge and begin spinning toward the side of the opponent of which fist he or she will attack with. Simpler terms, go to the left, spin to the left and connect with the left fist and vice versa.

Effect: Attacks a single target at -4 accuracy for 22 damage * strength modifier. On a full hit there is a 10% chance that the opponent suffers the sprained secondary effect where they suffer a -1 to their dodge for the next 3 rounds as well as the slowed secondary effect where they suffer a -1 to their accuracy for the next 3 rounds. [Can stack] [Each secondary effect is rolled separately]
Chambered Punch: A strike commonly performed in karate, kung fu, and tae kwon do, originating from a "chambered" position.

Prerequisite: Martial Artist

Effect: Attacks a single target at +4 accuracy for 23 * strength modifier. Regardless of success, the martial artist has a +1 dodge to the next attack aimed at them.
Leopard Blow (Long Fist): By tucking the fingertips against the bottom knuckle of each finger, a long fist is formed. They offer decreased strength but increased reach. The striking surface is also narrower, which allows the fist to dig between ribs and other soft target areas.

Effect: Attacks a single target at +0 accuracy for 20 damage * strength modifier. On a full hit there is a 10% chance that the opponent suffers the weakened secondary effect where they do 10% less damage for the next 3 rounds. [Can stack]
Hammer Fist: A compacted fist is brought down upon the target, usually using the outside area of the fist.

Effect: Attacks 1 target at +0 accuracy for 15 * strength modifier initial damage and 10 * strength modifier damage per round for the next 3 rounds.
Haymaker: A punch in which the arm is whipped sideways from the shoulder joint with minimal elbow bend. The name is derived from the motion, which mimics the action of manually cutting hay by swinging a scythe. The haymaker is considered an imperfect/impure punch, as the angle of approach is unsupported by the remainder of the forearm. Since a haymaker's power is derived completely from weight transfer and momentum instead of muscle contraction, a long windup is required to generate sufficient force. Haymakers, in the form of shoulder punches, are frequently used from a mounted position in mixed martial arts as part of the "ground and pound" method, as the legs cannot be used to generate power. When thrown from standing, these punches leave the person vulnerable to a counter punch during the wind up, if blocked, or if the haymaker misses. Haymaker is generally considered a street or bar fighters punch, as it is the punch a person is most likely to use if they have not practiced martial arts and has little to no advantages over other punches such as the somewhat similar hook, making its use by martial artists rare.

Effect: Attacks 1 target at -4 accuracy for 32 * strength modifier. If this attack misses, the next attack on the user is an auto-hit.
Hook: A punch involving the use of turning to aim toward the side of the head or body. This punch must land from the very tips of the knuckles and not from a flat fist.

Effect: Attacks a single target at +0 accuracy for 20 damage * strength modifier. On a full hit there is a the opponent suffers the disoriented secondary effect where there is a 5% chance that they will auto-miss their attacks for the next 3 rounds. [Can stack]
Drop: A semi-circular and vertical punch thrown with the rear hand. It is usually when the opponent is bobbing or slipping. The strategic utility of the drop relying on body weight can deliver a great deal of power. This punch must land from the very tips of the knuckles and not from a flat fist.

Prerequisite: Martial Artist

Effect: Attacks a single target at +0 accuracy for 20 damage * strength modifier. If a player has elected to taker the dodgeoption for this round, this attack negates that effect (meaning the player derives no benefit from the buff to their dodge). This serves as a counter to dodge.
Shovel Hook: A close range punch that is halfway between a hook and an uppercut. Shovel hooks are most commonly used to strike the body at a 45 degree angle. For example, a liver shot can be done using a shovel hook. This punch must land from the very tips of the knuckles and not from a flat fist.

Effect: Attacks a single target at +0 accuracy for 20 damage * strength modifier. On a full hit there is a 10% chance that the opponent suffers the slowed secondary effect where they suffer a -1 to their attack accuracy for the next 3 rounds. [Can stack]
Uppercut: The fist is raised vertically towards the target, usually the head or upper body. Since most guards are held with the arms in a vertical position, the uppercut can be used to avoid the opponent's attempts at blocking.

[Can stack] If a player has elected to taker the block option for this round, this attack negates that effect (meaning the player derives no benefit from the buff to their dodge). This serves as a counter to block.
Upset Punch: Starts with the fist in the chambered position, with the palm facing downwards, delivered to the abdomen or solar plexus.

Prerequisite: Martial Artist

Effect: Attacks a single target at +0 accuracy for 20 damage * strength modifier. On a full hit there is a 10% chance that the opponent suffers the disabled secondary effect where they take +10% damage for the next 3 rounds. [Can stack]
Casting Punch: This is a punch used in Sambo and MMA that starts with a forward motion of the shoulders, which causes the bent arm to whip forward to the opponent. This punch can often cause the opponent to be put in a clinch if it misses at close range.

Effect: Attacks a single target at -4 accuracy for 27 damage * strength modifier. On a full hit there is a 10% chance that the opponent suffers the sprained secondary effect where they suffer a -1 to their dodge for the next 3 rounds. [Can stack] However if this attack misses, any grapple attempts for the round have a +3 chance to hit.
Superman Punch: A superman punch or diving punch is a technique used in Muay Thai, ITF-style Taekwon-Do, full contact karate and mixed martial arts fighting. The striker will lunge toward the opponent pushing off with the back foot punching with the opposite arm of the leg used to push off with although there may be variations in the name and technique, depending on the fighting style. The pose should resemble that of Superman flying through the air, hence the name.

Effect: Attacks a single target at -4 accuracy for 27 damage * strength modifier. On a full hit there is a 25% chance that the opponent is knocked onto their back. They must spend their next action getting back onto their feet, therefore their next intended action is lost. This can also be used in a combo, where if it is followed up with a grapple attempt on a target that has been successfully knocked as the user's next action, the attempt has a +2 to the accuracy and strength check. However, this move suffers from a +1 critical fail chance (negated by Perfectionist).
Sucker Punch: A punch that takes the enemy by surprise, possibly knocking them out or otherwise incapacitating them. Could be an unexpected blow to the stomach or a strike from behind that the victim did not see coming.

Effect: A Contested Wisdom Roll is performed to see if the opponent is taken by surprise. If the wisdom roll fails, the attack is an auto-miss. However, if the wisdom roll is successful then the attack is an auto-hit for 25 damage * strength modifier. This attack has a +1 critical range and can only be used by a user once every other round.
Kicks
Font Kick: Delivering a front kick involves raising the knee and foot of the striking leg to the desired height and extending the leg to contact the target with the ball of their foot. Front kicks are typically aimed at targets below the chest: stomach, thighs, groin, knees or lower.

Effect: Attacks a single target at +0 accuracy for 20 damage * strength modifier. +1 critical range.
Upward Kick: Delivering a front kick involves raising the knee and foot of the striking leg to the desired height and extending the leg to contact the target with the tops of their toes. These are normally aimed at targets below the chest: stomach, thighs, groin, knees or lower.

Effect: Attacks a single target at -4 accuracy for 22 damage * strength modifier. On a full hit there is a 10% chance that the opponent suffers the winded secondary effect where they have a 5% chance to auto-fail their actions for the next 3 rounds. [Can stack]
Roundhouse Kick: The attacker swings their leg sideways in a circular motion, kicking the opponent's side with the front of the leg, usually with the instep, ball of the foot, toe, or shin. It can also be performed is a 360-degree kick where the attacker performs a full circle with their leg, in which the striking surface is generally either the instep, shin or ball of the foot.

Effect: Attacks a single target at -4 accuracy for 22 damage * strength modifier. This attack cannot critically fail.
Side kick: The side kick is delivered sideways in relation to the body of the person kicking. A standard side kick is performed by first 'chambering' by raising the kicking leg diagonally across the body, then extending the leg in a linear fashion toward the target, while flexing the abdominals. The two common impact points in sidekicks are the heel or the outer edge of the foot, with the heel is more suited to hard targets such as the ribs, stomach, jaw, temple and chest. When executing a side kick with the heel, the toes should be pulled back so that they only make contact the heel and not with the whole foot as striking with the arch or the ball of the foot can injure the foot or break an ankle.

Effect: A kick that targets a single opponent at +0 accuracy and does 12 damage * strength modifier. On a successful hit, the target is launched back and can hit a second target of the user's choice (must be declared, otherwise it is randomly rolled from ALL targets besides self) at -4 accuracy and for 13 damage. If both targets are hit, both targets are considered to be prone and would lose 1 action as they use the action to stand back up. if only the first target is struck, neither suffer from the secondary effect.
Back Kick: Also referred to as a donkey kick, mule kick, horse kick or turning back kick. This kick is directed backwards, keeping the kicking leg close to the standing leg and using the heel as a striking surface. In wushu, this kick is called the "half-moon" kick but involves the slight arching of the back and a higher lift of the leg to give a larger curvature. It is often used to strike opponents by surprise when facing away from them.

Effect: Attacks a single target at -4 accuracy for 27 damage * strength modifier. +1 critical range.
Axe Kick: In Japanese, kakato-geri or kakato-otoshi; in Korean, doki bal chagi or naeryeo chagi or "chikka chagi". In Chinese, "pigua tui" or "xiapi tui". An axe kick, also known as a hammer kick or stretch kick, is characterized by a straightened leg with the heel descending onto an opponent like the blade of an axe. It begins with one foot rising upward as in a crescent kick then the upward arc motion is stopped and then the attacking foot is lowered to strike the target from above. The arc can be performed in either an inward (counter-clockwise) or outward (clockwise) fashion.

Effect: Effect: Attacks a single target at +4 accuracy for 23 * strength modifier. The user suffers -4 dodge to the next attack and taking critical damage if they are hit.
Butterfly Kick The butterfly kick is done by doing a large circular motion with both feet in succession, making the combatant airborne. There are many variations of this kick. The kick may look like a slanted aerial cartwheel and at the same time, the body spins horizontally in a circle. It begins as a jump with one leg while kicking with the other, then move the kicking leg down and the jumping leg up into a kick, landing with the first kicking leg, all while spinning. This kick involves also the arching the back backwards when airborne to give a horizontal body with high angled legs to the horizontal. First practiced in Chinese martial arts, the butterfly kick, or "xuan zi", is widely viewed as ineffective for actual combat. However, its original purpose was to evade an opponent's floor sweep and flip to the antagonist's exposed side or it may be used as a double aerial kick to an opponent standing off to the side. It is now widely used in demonstrative wushu forms (taolu) as a symbol of difficulty. Also note the similarity in execution when compared to an ice skating maneuver known as a flying camel spin.

Effect: This is an attack that protects the user from having their legs swept. Auto-success attempting to evade a leg sweep attack. In addition this attack strikes a single target twice at 0 accuracy for 10 damage * strength modifier.
Calf Kick This strike is a low roundhouse kick that hits the backside of the calf with the shin. While a Calf Kick sacrifices range in comparison to a standard low roundhouse kick to the thigh, the Calf Kick can't be checked with a knee or grabbed with an arm making it a safer kick for a striker in MMA matches vs opponents capable of checking low kicks or grapplers looking for takedown opportunities.

Effect: This attack cannot be blocked. Performed at +0 accuracy, this attack targets a single opponent for 15 damage * strength modifier. On a full hit, there is a 10% chance that the opponent suffers from the sprained secondary effect where they suffer a -1 to their dodge for the next 3 rounds.
Crescent Kick: In Japanese, mikazuki Geri; in Korean, bandal chagi (반달 차기). The crescent kick, also referred to as a "swing" kick, has some similarities to a hook kick and is sometimes practiced as an off-target front snap kick. The leg is bent like the front kick, but the knee is pointed at a target to the left or right of the true target. The energy from the snap is then redirected, whipping the leg into an arc and hitting the target from the side. This is useful for getting inside defenses and striking the side of the head or for knocking down hands to follow up with a close attack. In many styles of T'ai chi ch'uan and Kalaripayattu, crescent kicks are taught as tripping techniques. When training for crescent kicks, it is common to keep the knee extended to increase the difficulty. This also increases the momentum of the foot and can generate more force, though it takes longer to build up the speed. In this case, it serves as a tripping technique.

Effect: Attacks a single target at +4 accuracy for 10 damage. On a full hit, there is a 30% chance that the opponent is tripped, knocked prone. They lose their next action as a result.
The descriptions for many of these moves have been shamelessly taken from wikipedia. However the numbers are unique to this community.

All italicized colored words are thoughts.

Santario stood where she had the whole time with her arms crossed, watching on defiantly knowing that she would refuse to fight. She had no stake in winning a conversation with Vladimir; she didn’t care what he was up to; it had nothing to do with her. As long as their goals didn’t intersect or conflict, why would she even bother looking twice at him?
Gideon
Coincidence. She thought, if only she believed in them.
Abbandon
No… Dread filled her.
Loralei
NONONONONONO!She swallowed back the bile that forced itself into her mouth.

Every muscle in her tiny body constricted her eyes widening as she watched the words pour out of the boy’s mouth like a death sentence. Every single utterance by him was a punch in the gut, and the wicked laughter a nail in her coffin. Could her already porcelain fine complexion become any paler than it already was? Turns out it could. Every breath she tried to take in felt like a struggle, and there was no way out.
GET YOURSELF TOGETHER!

Santario screamed at herself in her head; there was nothing she could do about it now, and this is the reaction they would want. She took a deep and slow breath and readjusted her crossed arms staring defiantly at Victor again. “I’m not fighting anyone, and quite frankly, you can’t make me! I’m not your puppet, nor will I sink to their level! I am not an animal to be controlled!” ‘Their’ could have referred to a few things the people who had decided to fight in the previous rounds, the group of boys running this show, or perhaps it was the names. It didn’t much matter because Santario was not moving from her spot.
They’ll just have to lose their money… One of the many things I will make them lose in due time.

Amara has had enough, yes she knows that randomly fighting people is wrong but the blue-eyed snake does not have a particularly good moral compass. Anyways, after all the hell that Amara and her peers went through last year, some answers- or well one answer- would be nice. Amara sizes up her opponents as Santario voices her opinion. Amara decides that Jack is the weakest looking opponent and goes for him first.

Amara sneaks up behind him and sucker punches him in the neck before taking a sharp breath. Amara than attacks the boy with a right hook on the side of his neck. Before taking a break, the second year crescent kicks Jack.

After throwing the first fists of the round, Amara looks around the group with a satisfied smirk. While Amara may be putting on a facade of cold-heartedness, she does feel for the boy. Amara fights back the bile threatening to come up her throat. Her mind wanders to Hanzo, the boy who makes her feel special, the boy who cherishes her. Would he still want to be around Amara if he knows what a monster she can be? Tears start to well in Amara's eyes but she blinks them away. The first rule is that no one talks about fight club so that is exactly what she plans to do.

Dmitri did not want to do it, but his competitive nature left him no choice.

He had to fight.

As they descended down into the arena, his previous anxiety quieted down. He made a promise to himself when he bleached his hair—a promise to deal with his problems proactively, to face them head-on. And what better way to confront those problems than winning a chance to receive an answer to one of his many burning questions.

Sure, he may not be the best fighter. Definitely not the strongest. Absolutely not the sturdiest, too.

But among all these aspirants, he was—and will always be—the smartest.

Dmitri could feel his little furry multi-legged friend wiggle in his pocket as he called out, "You know, we can always beat the system. We could have a win-win situation: have a common question answered as a reward if you would only make like her—" At this, he would point at Santario, "—and surrender to the stronger team." The boy's smirk would make itself known. "Just make it easy on yourselves and concede the game no—"

His tirade would be cut off, though, as an opponent launched themselves at one of his teammates.

With an exasperated sigh and an eyeroll, Dmitri rocked back on his heels and let his fist fly.

The hard way it is, then.

Erik was ready. This was his moment. Finally a battle he could win. No longer he would be slowed down by his magic or his arrogance. He knew he could easily overpower his opponents. He wouldn't even break a sweat. What a nice warm up this would be before he would make his final stance soaked in the blood of his enemies, wearing it like armor, overcome by his most basic of insticts. KILL.

Erik would forgo his defences and would solemnly focus on the offence. You know what they say after all. Offence was the best defence. Any mortal soul and every living being with a single shred of sanity left would quiver before his appearance. The boy's eyes shone brighter then ever before. His venemous green eyes going over the defenseless prey assembled before him. A bloodthirsty grin appeared on his face. No longer he would hold back. With that the werewolf, literally, tore off his sweater almost busting the seams. As his sweater lifted up a bit of his tank top edges of hideous scars became visible on his bare back. This only lasted in the blink of an eye as he quickly fixed his tank top cloaking them from sight. Still some edges were visible on his right shoulder.

A slight growl was heared in the back of his throat as he surpassed his teammates. His eagerness was clear to everyone. He showed his teeth, much like a wolf did as an Alpha who would protect his pack. Erik leaped at his target. A small girl he could easily overpower with his muscles.

Not one of you put your stats in your post (one had them in their sig tho thank you), I had to find them. That really adds time to these mods. Please make it easier for me to mdoerate for you.
Those names Gideon, Abbandon and Loralei meant nothing to everyone there, everyone there less one. Three people who had more control over the girl than she ever wanted to admit, more than she realized. Tell them that three people she absolutely hated wanted her to do (or not do) something and she would simply do the opposite.

“I’m not fighting anyone, and quite frankly, you can’t make me! I’m not your puppet, nor will I sink to their level! I am not an animal to be controlled!”

Victor would see the fire he elicited in her, his expression was mirthless. Still nhe would give her a passionless reply. "I am told that they are crushed, good job." A conduit in between or directly to, that she would not know.

@Dmitri Jones would speak up.

"You know, we can always beat the system. We could have a win-win situation: have a common question answered as a reward if you would only make like her—"

Her being Martin, the girl who was not going to fight. Like several others students before her who declared the same intention.

"—and surrender to the stronger team."

His team

Had Dmitri possessed much charm, that smirk might have been less apparent. His teamates were absolutely terrifying, but few realized this fact. Erik was a pitbull. Dmitri was a scoundrel. Jack was a magnet for the wrath of women (and many men) and therefore serves as an excellent meat shield if he was standing.

"Just make it easy on yourselves and concede the game no—"

There would be no conceeding on this day. Without word or warning @Amara Dragamior would focus on @Jack Burnett. He was the weakest, most desirable target. Far from the most powerful, perhaps the most appealing target as well considering the numerous enemies he has made.

Amara would step up behind Jack Burnett and throw the first punch. A sucker punch to the back of the neck. There was no going back now, she just earned the ire of two boys who were not afraid to fight.
Amara attacks Jack with a Sucker Punch.
Attack (Wisdom) 8 + 9 HIT!
Evasion (Wisdom) 9 + 7
Jack took 100 damage, 400 health remains
A blow to the back of the neck would awaken the boy who might not even be in the ring. It did not matter, she had chosen her target, the easy ginger. Her attack would not go unnoticed. Dmitri, Jack's present teammate despite the fact that the soon to be fourth year had been rejecting the boy's advances to join his dorm, the lone wolf knew how to work in a pack when it was adventageous to him.

Jack would bob and weave. She would miss Jack's throat and hit something of similar diameter, a slender, sadly less pliable and bruisable... metal pole. The unmoving, metallic pole would meet her knuckles and she would feel the pain in her bones. in the tiny, fragile bones in her hand.
Amara took the full damage of her own attack due to critical failure. 80 damage, 400 health remaining.

@Calvon Faux was met by a flying young woman and was knocked prone. ((1 action less next round.)) Amara was getting battered and now she was grounded on top of the soon to be first year. This was one way of meeting women, not a great way... but still a way.

Santario wanted nothing more than to leave, but it seemed that there was no real way out than to let the games progress. The crack of the first hit in the ring made her flinch as Amara, Dmitri, and Erik started rendering blows. She watched the train wreck, unable to look away as she clenched her muscles so tight, they hurt to stop showing how badly she trembled. Santario may despise many people, most of them in this room alone, most of them her own housemates, but she was a healer at heart. She hated senseless violence; it was uneducated and unnecessary.

Amara’s fist collided with the metal pole, and she grimaced… That would be broken; there was no doubt. Two older boys against that small stupid girl were disgusting, and it made her sick as bile started to rise in her throat again. When Amara went down, Santario bit her bottom lip so hard she thought she would make it bleed, but it didn’t.

Only one thing came to Santario’s mind. Get Amara’s body out of the ring so that it could suffer no more abuse. Before her brain even finished processing, the thought adrenaline moved her feet towards the ring, where she kept her hands up in plain sight. “Just let me get her body out.” She regarded Dmitri and Erik, really anyone who looked like they might try to square up on her. However, the look in her eyes when she looked at those two specifically was as if she were looking at feral animals. San bit her tongue wanting to tell them that they were no better than the monsters that orchastrated all of this. Lest she be the next one to attract their ire.
Action 1 Attempt to retrieve Amara's body from the ring and bring it to safety.
Action 2 Attempt to dodge any oncoming attacks.
Action 3 (Only if attacked) Retreat from the ring leaving the body behind if necessary.

Erik had no fear. On no occasion he was going to dodge. Then again no one was foolish enough to challenge him. If they would he was simply knock some sense into those thick skulls of theirs. However, at this point he was beating a small girl to a pulp. Amara. She wasn't even a challenge and he had taken care off the opponents weakest link when he had given her a sucker punch she just fell down and hadn't gotten up. A nice warm up for sure, but no where close to satisfying his bloodthirst. MORE. I NEED MORE., his thoughts screamed inside his mind. With that he searched for his next prey. Eyeing his opponents with his teeth bare and blood dripping off of his knuckles. There it was. A young boy stood there.

As he made his way towards his unsuspecting prey a familiar voice seemed to break through his bloodlust. Santario. Erik hadn't heard what she said. Confused he looked over at her, but wary. Was she in danger from one of his teammates? It didn't seem like it. Good. He would literally break them, if they dared lay a hand on her. The werewolf noticed she was moving over to Amara.

MOOOOOORE. I CRAVE MORE. Erik shook his head. No, I need to protect my friend! NO. I NEED MORE. NOW. He couldn't fight the thoughts. That's when he slipped back into his primitive state and ran over to his prey.

[6] Amara Dragamior - unconscious
[13] Santario Martin - dragging Amara from the ring
[30] Calvon Faux - being attacked by Erik, 243 health remains
[31] Tyranni Whitethorn

Group 8
[3] Jack Burnett - mildly battered, 360 health remains
[17] Dmitri Jones - smuggling a spooder
[21] Ruby Cazares
[22] Erik Tharldson - kicking ass and taking names

The battle against the girl ended as soon as she hit the ground unmoving. The boys had made short work of @Amara Dragamior. A broken hand and body, she was no longer a threat to either of the boys or the focus of her assault, @Jack Burnett. Jack had not moved (posted) since the start of the fight, he seemed capable of taking a punch if nothing else. This would be the only time he was on the same side as @Dmitri Jones and @Erik Tharldson. The violent duo was not about to let one of their own, be it a pack mentality (Erik) or a selfish act of self-preservation through preserving a more desirable target (Dmitri), it did not matter. The mildly battered boy would live to be punched again today.

Dmitri would cease (not post) once Amara was grounded. There was no need to fight any longer, muss up his perfect hair or break a nail. Not on their ugly faces in any case. Erik, on the other hand was intoxicated by the scent of blood (and the failure of his opponents to post or defend themselves). He would eye another target, some new kid that he had never met but would have gotten to know in the future perhaps - @Calvon Faux. A boy a tad too young to be here, not that it mattered to Erik.

There were predators and there was prey. Erik was an alpha (in his tiny pack) predator. Seeing Amara's fallen form at the feet of a new foe was enough for the boy. He would lunge at the boy with a primal ferocity.
Erik performs Leopard Blow at @Calvon Faux
Attack 11 + 5
Evasion 9 + 5
10% chance that the opponent suffers the weakened secondary effect where they do 10% less damage for the next 3 rounds. 19 Failed
132 damage taken, 342 health remains
His hand balled into a tight fist, with the strength of his body behind the attack Erik would extend his arm into Calvon's jaw. The boy would be hit hard, sent staggering back. He would feel a heat where the blow landed, a swollen bruise would soon form there marring his previously symmetrical face.
Erik performs Calf Kick at @Calvon Faux
Attack 16
Evasion 13
10% chance that the opponent suffers from the sprained secondary effect where they suffer a -1 to their dodge for the next 3 rounds. 53 Failed
99 damage taken, 243 health remains
It was like attacking a punching back with flesh and blood. A bit more satisfying perhaps. Erik's foot would swing around and hit the boy hard in the calf. A stabbing pain would shoot up through the leg, but he lifted his foot just in time and was able to prevent his ankle from being sprained. A small consolation it would appear, Erik was hell bent on breaking the boy in half.
Erik performs Upper Cut at @Calvon Faux
Attack 2 MISSED
Evasion 9
A potential finisher, had it landed. Erik would duck down low and swing his fist upwards ad the boy's waiting jaw. The boy would step, perhaps stumble to the side at the last moment and the crowd would roar. Erik's fist sliced through just air. Had the attack landed, there was a distinct possibility that he would not be standing any longer, the only other student who had not made a declaration that they would not fight being @Tyranni Whitethorn, a pretty little girl that would not last long against the werewolf. He was outnumbered and outclassed, he was not even fighting back (post dude!).
