Asteria vs Anastasia

Once the Prefects had settled down their duels and everyone had a few examples, it came time for students to begin their own practice sessions in the club. Sebastián took a few names off the sign up sheet and owled the students to meet him in the dueling club room. There did not necessarily need to be a crowd for these fights, but it wouldn't be disallowed by any means. The first years in question would be inexperienced and fresh for teaching. Whether they believed that or not was yet to be seen though. The platform was clean and ready for use and abuse. It was doubtful a First-Year student could do enough damage to truly mark the platform anyways.
"Asteria and Anastasia..," he started, motioning for them to take their places. "Stand on the platform. Approach, salute. Return to your positions near the ends and bow. This fight is not for any sort of status or ranking. It is simply your initiation into the club. So be respectful but do try to win."
Once satisfied with their placement he would motion towards the middle with his wand. There would be no spell from him this time. He simply raised it into the air and took a step back while glancing between the two students. It was time for the duel to begin and there was little point in saying much else.

Asteria vs Anastasia
Asteria walked over to the designated area once her name was called. She told her friend Wini on their first day, that if there was a dueling club, she would join if possible, and it seems that day has come. One thing Asteria has always wanted to do is learn how to duel, she's heard countless stories from some people in her family about their times in dueling club. Not only that, but her father was an Auror, so he was bound to get into lots of duels in his career. Asteria wanted to follow in her fathers footsteps and become one herself someday, and dueling will help her along the way! She's spent countless hours, pouring over books and learning new spells. She burned each wand movement and pronunciation into her memory, and practiced these spells for what feels like ages.
That being said, along with the feelings of excitement there was a small hint of nervousness. Not enough to shake her though, it was perfectly normal to be a bit nervous when you're about to duel. People can get hurt and no one wants that, "You can do this!" Asteria confidently muttered to herself under her breath. "This should be fun." Asteria faced her opponent and smiled. 'Dueling etiquette' Asteria thought. 'Face your opponent and bow.' Asteria gave Anastasia a bow. 'Wands at the ready and...' Asteria cleared her mind and readied her wand, "Flipendo!" Asteria shouted.

Asteria vs Anastasia
Anastasia heard her name being called to go next in the dueling. Her heart started racing as she saw her opponent climbing up onto the podium before her. She looked strong and confident which made Anastasia feel uneasy. She looked around at the other people who were now waiting for her to get onto the podium. She pushed her way through the crowd and stared at her emotionless opponent. She took a deep breath and readied her wand. Taking a steady stance, she was prepared or so she thought.
She bowed to her partner and, Flipendo! Her partner said sharply. A flash of light hit Anastasia right in the chest and she fell back onto her bum. She gasped and was very shocked.
Standing back up and taking her stance she thought, My turn! She gazed deep into her partner's eyes from across the podium. Anastasia panicked and said the first spell that came to her heard from the last charms class she had. Tarantallegra! She grinned at her first successful spell in a duel and watched her opponents reaction. It was quite a powerful spell she thought, considering she picked it up from watching another duel previously. She looked around at the crowd and they gazed at the girl across the podium.
