@Aurelia Notrésvace September 3, 2020𝓐madea found herself standing in the duelling clu room. She didn't know why she was here; she hadn't been in this room in a very long time. It seemed like an entire life ago when she stood here last, participating in duels and moderating duels when she was a prefect. It was weird, the memories that came to her as she stood here. Amadea was a fourth year now and she was determined to make a comeback this year. After her father passed away, Amadea felt completely broken and lost inside and while she was still struggling with a lot, she had made a promise to herself that she would start doing more and participting more and that was exactly what she was going to do.
She had new blonde hair - blondes had more fun, right? Amadea was going to have plenty of fun. She had recently signed up for a new club called the S.W.A.G. club, which basically seemed like duelling but with less rules and more combat, which seemed absolutely terrifying to Amadea but she loved duelling so she had signed up. Plus, she had that promise she had made to herself about stepping out of her shell and participating more. She was going to get her life back on track and plan for her future. This was going to be a great year.
And she could start that by practicing for this new club she had signed up for. While practicing spells was against the rules, Amadea didn't think there was anything against the rules about just practicing certain parts of spells; she opened her textbook to the wand movements and began carefully following the patterns. Having the correct wand movements for a spell was a very important part of spell casting, and Amadea wanted every part of her spellcasting to be absolutely perfect. Over her four years at Hogwarts, she had learned that duelling and spellcasting was her thing. While many of her fellow classmates fell in love with Quidditch, Amadea had shied away from the sport - no matter how much she thought about it, flying around on a wooden stick while balls are flying around you did not seem appealing to Amadea. She much preferred the control she had during a duel; while she couldn't perfectly predict her opponent's movements, there was a lot more control in duelling than in Quidditch, at least in Amadea's mind.
As she concentrated on moving her wand correctly according to the textbook, Amadea was so lost in the pages that she didn't notice the other person who had stepped into the room. She spun around, moving her wand as she spun, and quickly halted as she finally caught sight of the figure. Immediately, her brain rushed to dread. What if the person had thought she was actually practicing spells in here? Would they tattle on her? As Amadea took a closer look, she realized it was her fellow fourth year, Aurelia that was standing there. Amadea didn't know the girl that well, but she had a felling that Aurelia wasn't going to tattle. "Hi," Amadea said uncertainly, feeling uncomfortable now. "Uh, I was just practicing wand movements."── ❋ ──

Spellcasting & Seduction
It had been only a couple of days since school had resumed back as per usual. For Aurelia, she was still getting used to the schedule. Fourth year was slightly more academically demanding then it was first or second she noticed. A few days into a school year and homework were already starting to pile up. But Aurelia having already spent mroe than 3 years in the old scottish castle would not fail to live up to its academic expectations.
Everyone needed a break once in a while. Aurelia was not only exhausted in school work but managing her extra curricular club as well, not to mention the always lingering stress regarding her relationship with her not too recent partner, none other than her betrothed, Hadrian. Recently, she made a decision to revive the spells wands and games club. A decision she made not for her own benefit but the benefit of students. It was a club with much responisbilty, and one of them would be to find possible areas to host her games.
It was in the late afternoon when Aurelia found herself in the duel club, one of the areas that had hardly been used. But she noticed that someone was already in the facility, a vaguely familiar face of a hufflepuff forth year. Casting spells was she? Wasn't that a violation against the rules? But the girl would soon learn that she was in fact not casting spells but learning the wand movements. "Are you?" Aurelia cooed as she stepped closer. Aurelia would admit, this girl was pretty and although she could not quite remember where they met, she was sure that she did not always have a head of flawless blonde hair.
They were the only two in the room, Aurelia had not much too do, aside from the pile of assignments left in the dormitory, but that could wait. "What is the fun in just practising wand movements? You aren't getting the full experience." A lovely smile spread across the girl's lovely visage as she said the words.

Now that the words were out of her mouth, she felt as though it gave off the sense that she was trying to cover up something that she was doing. By specifically clarifying that she was only practicing wand movements, it made it seem more suspicious that Amadea wasn't. But it was too late to take back the words now. She wished that it had been someone else who had walked in, maybe one of her close friends so then they would understand that Amadea really hadn't been doing anything wrong. Anyone who knew Amadea well enough knew that she was not the type of person to break the rules.
At the same time, though, Amadea was feeling oddly glad to see Aurelia. While she had not interacted much with the girl in the past three years they had attended Hogwarts, she figured this would be as good of a time as any to get to know her better. After all, it seemed like there were fewer and fewer familiar faces returning to the castle each year. Amadea couldn't blame people for leaving; some scary stuff had happened during the past four years and it was definitely something that not everyone would enjoy coming back to. Plus, there were other circumstances sometimes as well, like family situations that people had to take into account. Amadea was just glad that she was back and that many of her friends seemed to be as well.
Of course, Amadea didn't know why she was worrying so much about Aurelia thinking she was breaking the rules because the next sentence out of the girl's mouth was trying to get her to practice the entire spell. "I can't lie, the thought has passed through my mind," Amadea said, twisting her hands together nervously, "But that's against the rules." She cringed again, wondering if Aurelia was going to think that she was being lame or a goody two-shoes by following the rules. While Amadea would happily admit that she was the type of person that enjoyed following the rules and having some sort of structure, she didn't like the idea of people thinking badly about her because of it. She was far less of a goody two-shoes than she used to be, thanks to Ami. But on a more important note, Amadea wondered why she seemed to care so much what Aurelia thought of her.── ❋ ──
