The Sound of rejected Thoughts
Once more Opeila was sneaking out of the common room and explored the castle on her own at night.
When she opened this door, she didn't know what to expect. It could as well have been some teacher's office and that would have gotten her into big trouble.
But again her curiosity took over and she entered the unknown room. She left the door open as she walked into what she figured out to be some ballroom. Opeila had seen a ballroom in an old french castle but there had been a sign that forbid her to walk through the door.
Fascinated she spun around a few times, almost trying to inhale the kind of festive atmosphere of the room. She stopped, when she found a piano in the corner of the room and next to it... a violin. Opeila's eyes almost seemed to glow of enthusiasm. She forgot that she was breaking the rules being here, forgot that she also probably wasn't allowed to touch that instrument and that any teacher could easily hear her through the open door.
Opeila was eager to put her hands on that violin and for once nothing would stop her.
A sigh escaped her when she picked up the fragile looking instrument. She closed her eyes and started playing a tune that made her forget where she was. The tune woke up emotions inside her she refused to let through since she had entered that train. A single tear ran down her cheek but she still smiled.
If someone came in she wouldn't notice him unless that someone said something.
It seemed like the whole castle held it's breath to let the soft sound of the violin take over.

Startled Opeila looked at the Gryffindor who seemed to have appeared just out of no where. When he started clapping she almost dropped her instrument.
"Phew...You scared me..." She said, first she feared a teacher might have entered.
Carefully she put down the violin. "I guess, I shouldn't have done that... or at least I wasn't allowed to." She didn't seem very regretting, no, she enjoyed the few minutes of escaping.
Next she looked at the Gryffindor. No, she definetly hadn't met him yet.
"Opeila Seilun", she introduced herself. "Slytherin." Well said, Miss Obvious...
"What made you leave your common room this time at night? Aren't you scared to get caught? Especially because you walked into a room that some other rulebreaker was stupidly making noise in." She grinned.
"Well, why am I even asking. You are a Gryffindor. So is it true then that you are always looking for an adventure to dive in? Dangerous, man."
With one finger she stroke the piano next to the violin and looked at the dust on her finger. Did the houselfs spare this room?
"Do you play any instruments? If you don't, hell, you're missing something." She turned around to him again, smiling.

“Sorry I frightened you” Dracos says seeing the shock on her face after he started clapping. When he heard her say that she was not supposed to be playing, he immediately blurted out “Don’t be sorry, you sounded beautiful!” He casually got up and walked a few steps before saying, “Nice to meet you Opeilia, There is always a joy in breaking the rules.....so what if I am Gryffindor, that does not mean I can’t have fun” Dracos says smirking “I left my common room because I felt bored, hardly anything happens there...how about your Slytherin dorms, is it lively there? Also, why did you leave your common room?” Dracos slowly walks towards the piano “Yes, I play a few instruments, cello, violin and piano. Do you play any more instruments?” He takes a seat at the piano and casually taps middle C a few times. Then he takes a deep breath, he was not used to playing in front of people. “Get it together Dracos, she just played in front of you!” He thought to him self, he slowly begins a song he felt familiar with, Rondo Alla Turca (Turkish Marsh) by Mozart. When he started, he felt the world around him disappear and he forgot all about where he was. At that moment, he was not a wizard in training but a musician.
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”

"Don't worry, I just didn't expect anyone to come by. Except maybe a teacher who would tell me off. But thanks. I practied playing for some years now." Smiling she glanced at the violin again.
“Nice to meet you Opeilia, There is always a joy in breaking the rules.....so what if I am Gryffindor, that does not mean I can’t have fun. I left my common room because I felt bored, hardly anything happens there...how about your Slytherin dorms, is it lively there? Also, why did you leave your common room?”
Opeila tried hard not to laugh. "Okay, so first, it is Opeila. Not Opeil-i-a.
Then you just agreed with what I said. Gryffindors simply do find the most fun being in danger. Personally I think that sounds almost a little self-destructive. I wasn't coming out for breaking the rules but because I couldn't stand the weird atmosphere in the common room. Believe me, it is weird sometimes."
She shook her head right after. "Violin is all I can play."
When he started playing the piano, Opeila ran to the door and closed it quickly. "Are you mad?! There must be some sort of boundaries in having fun breaking the rules! A piano is a lot louder than a violin!"

“Don’t worry, there is not a single classroom on this floor, I checked. We should not have a problem with a teacher”
Opeila stared at the Gryffindor in disbelief.
"Classroom? Teachers? I don't know if you noticed, Kaida, but it is after curfew.", she said slowly. "And I didn't come here because breaking the rules is fun, but because I have sleeping issues. It was a coincidence that I found this violin. And again, a violin is quieter than a piano."
She stayed tense while he was playing, expecting a teacher or prefect to enter every second.
“We both left the common room, came here and played an instrument that we both know are against the rules. But I am the self-destructive one? As much as you would like to deny it, this was still an adventure, and you still continued on, so as far as I am concerned, you are just as self-destructive.”
Opeila chuckled and then shook her head.
"I didn't mean to. Sure, I played an instrument without closing the door after curfew, what was pretty stupid I guess, but it wasn't in order to break the rules. So, no, not self-destructive."
“So anyways, how are you liking Hogwarts so far, is it like you imagined?”
"I didn't imagine it. My parents didn't tell me a lot about it. My dad is a muggle, and my mum... well. She spends most of the time buried in her own little world.", she said, getting serious in the end.
"And what about you?", she asked Dracos, smiling again. "Is Hogwarts enough of an adventure to you?"
