It's Just A Dance Closed

Ve snapped out of her thoughts, "Don't worry I won't tell." She said giving Wes a grin and a thumbs up. She looked at him, "Well I don't think i'll be much help on your 'quest' to learn how to slow dance." She said leaving out the part that she dances at all. Her eyes landed onto Bates, 'why not have a little fun?' she thought as Bates slowly drifted off. She brought a finger to her mouth as a signal to be quite. She slowly took Bates off of her shoulder into her hand, and with out warning through him up to the air. The bird woke up with a jolt, and just before he hit the ground he flew.

He gave a glare at Ve as she was laughing, and flew back to the rafters. "Are pouting up there little baby." She called to him in between her laughter, as he just ignored her. "Sorry, but it was just two priceless to pass up." She said to wes after calming down from her laughter, wiping a non-existent tear from her eye. She did this a lot and always got a good laugh from it, and Bates gets her back every time so to them it was an even trade. She looked around the large area they were in.

Verla looked to Lorelai and said "I doubt it, it sounds like he's going to the dance with someone already, I wished some one would ask me." She said.

She whistled to Bates who looked down at Ve, as if he were avoiding her for some reason, she didn't expect Bates to land on her shoulder and nuzzle her. Verla thought happily of Bates, he reminded her of Oliver, only with wings and feathers. She hoped maybe one day she could find a bird to be her pet, maybe a hummingbird. She pet Bates on his head as she looked over at Ve and the guy Wes, she recognized him from some where, but she didn't know. She hoped Levi would ask her to the dance, since she thought they both had a crush on each other, though Levi wasn't known for being very brave, so she would probably have to make the first move. 

Verla hoped Ve wouldn't get jealous of her, that was the last thing she needed was some one being mad at her, and avoiding her, besides those kids she punched, she could handle that, they called her a Mudblood, they deserved it, she wouldn't be surprised if her friends went after them and punched them too.

Lorelai nodded and stroked the feathers on Bate's back. She was starting to become very fond of the bird, who was surprisingly very friendly for an eagle. Although considering what the wizarding world had to offer, this shouldn't have really surprised her. Lorelai turned her head to Verla.

"Yeah, I think you're right."She said. "And don't feel bad for not having anyone to go with. I don't think most people do. Definitely not me, that's for sure."She said, giggling.

Lorelai wasn't too close to any boys. She didn't even a crush and was certain that no boy had one for her. This didn't bother her much as she was only eleven, and there was tons of time for her to find someone. "I'll probably either go with some friends or not go at all. No same in that I think. Dancing really isn't my thing, so I'll probably just embarrass myself. What about you? Do you have any plans for the Blossomfest dance?"

Lorelai had no problems just staying in her dorm that night, but she'd probably go if her friends were going to it. Maybe it would be fun? Lorelai's dance experiences were extremely limited, so she really had no idea what to expect.

"I hope my friend Levi will ask me, otherwise I might not go, I can't dance,  I'd probably step on his toes too much or something, Levi Kuria, do you know him? He's super cute, and he super dorky, like me, my friend Fina wants to meet him for how funny I make him sound, when really he just is him, as I am. He has a lot of special talents he calls them, like running from me and making me chase after him." Verla giggled and sighed, dorky adorable Levi, where have you been all my life? She thought silently to herself.

She dreamed of him asking her Ina formal way, though he wasn't super brave, so she might be the first one to make the first move. She remembered when he saved her from the lake and shed kissed him on the cheek and how bright both of them blushed.

Verla sneezed and she noticed Bates ruffle his feathers when she did, as if he got cold too. She really needed to go to the pet store and get a new pet, maybe she could get a rare pet, one that no one else wanted to buy. Then it's really be a special companionship.
