Wren was returning from the library where she had loaded down on books about women of the past.

She had picked up all kinds of books on women of the past and had studied them around this time of year in her prep school. She was wearing her newest Girl Power look, and she had been feeling very confident as she had put up the posters in the hall. But now, sitting in the study room, she was nervous. Was anyone going to show up? Were they going to be interested? It was a class or maybe even someday a club, to study the women that had come before them and make the world a better place. Surely someone would be interested.

She walked into the room, set her books down on the table, and sat down at the table. She straightened the pens, paper, posters, and all the other supplies. Her plan was to pair people up and have them study and make a poster on the women she had set out.

Now, all she had to do was wait.

Women of the Past Closed
Aria hurried down the hallway, a pile of books in her hands. Carefully avoiding a large, fragile-looking statue in her path, she darted left to avoid her books toppling over. With the sudden movement, Aria's hair darted in her face, obstructing her view. Shaking her head, the hair left her face, allowing Aria to see clearly. She looked left and then she looked right. "Which way was the club again?" Aria muttered to herself, racking her brain to remember. Suddenly, she remembered. "This way." Aria turned left and hurried along until she found a room that looked like the one she was searching for.

Carefully balancing her books on one of her hands, she used her other, free hand to jiggle open the doorknob. Before entering, she looked around. Across the hallway, there was a poster saying "Women of the Past! Yes, that was the poster she had seen yesterday! Looking down at the room number, Aria smiled to herself. She had come to the right place. Though socializing with others had never been her strong suit, Aria had firmly told herself that she had to join at least one extra-curricular club. So, after seeing the beautifully created poster yesterday, Aria decided that she had to join this club! Screwing up all her courage, Aria opened the doorknob.

She was surprised to see there was only one person there. "Hello!" Aria exclaimed to the girl. "I'm Aria, nice to meet you!"

"Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars."
