It had been a while since Lucille had entered the study room of Hogwarts.
If you was being totally honest, it had been a long while since she had even stepped foot in Hogwarts. Being it her second here at the school she thought it about time to spend a few hours studying.
The only thing was, distractions.
Everywhere.
One Hufflepuff girl giggling while writing notes in her text book, some plotting Slytherins whispering in the corner, and of course. The loudest Gryffindors you would ever hear, acting as if no one could hear them explaining how 'absolutely epic' their summer was.
And then there was Lucille.
Trying her best to study some Astronomy notes, all the while little Lumi the cat purred near her leg in hopes of some attentive belly rubs.
Sadly though, no bell rubs were given.
"Sorry Lu...I just need to focus."
Lucille said to the little brown tabby, not trying to catch a glimpse at his potential cloudy blue eye glare.
Finally it seemed the loud Gryffindor was done, and in her moment of relief Luci would mutter a quick,
"Thank god."
Before the now upset Gryffindor walked over to her with a ,
"Excuse you."
The girl would sneer at Lucille before leaving the place with a stupid accomplished smile on her face.
"Humph."
Lucille looked back her little silver pocket-watch that she always hid in her pocket. "17:20"
The watch read.
"Just great.."
Lucille muttered to herself quietly.
"Only an hour till diner."
Lucille would think about leaving to the common room before dinner, and she might have even picked up her belongings if not for a small grey kitten, about Lumi's age to be exact, waltzed over to the second year and began to purr near Lumi's usual spot.
"What's a little cutie like you doing over here?"
Luci would ask the cat as she picked it it up from the floor with a dismissive "meow."
from Lumi as he placed his attention to the Hufflepuff student's desk.
"H-hey- who's cat is this?"
Lucille would say a bit louder for the whole room to hear as she held the little grey cat in her arms.

-Interacting with @Lucille Williams-Melissa went into the study room, hoping to study a little. Her kitten, Kato, walked beside her. Her little paws tripping on each other as the kitten tried to keep pace with her owner. Melissa never once regretted her decision to buy her little Kato. When she reached the study room, her kitten raced off. "Kato!" she shouted. Well, not exactly shout. More like a soft shout. She watched as Kato clumsily ran to another girl. She picked up Mel's little cat and said, "H-hey- who's cat is this?"
Melissa ran over and quickly said, "Oh, she's my cat. I'm so sorry if she distracted you." After a while, Mel added, "Her name's Kato by the way. My name is Melissa." Being there was kind of awkward for Mel. You see, she's not really a people person. More like a books and quiet person. She took her cat back and slowly stroked her fur as Melissa walked over to another table. She had quite a lot of studying to do. "You little mischief-maker!" she exclaimed to her cat. "Who taught you to be so cute Kato?" Scratching behind her kitten's ears, Mel started to study.

Lucille looked around the room to hear the small voice of another student, apparently this playful little kitten was theirs.
"No worries, I have my own adventurous fur ball most days."
Luci replied with a small smile at the girl.
Quickly looking around the room for Lumi, the Ravenclaw heard the Melissa girl introduce herself and the small grey kitten from earlier as Kato.
"Oh right! Uh- Lucille Williams, fir- no, second year. And the other little fur-ball is Lumi."
She added finally spotting the brown tabby creeping up on some other bored looking Hufflepuff boy.
Was Lucille getting distracted by the fact of how her own cat got super distracted?
Yes?
The girl had just walked back to her own study table when Lucille brought her attention back.
Still in a curious mood however, the Ravenclaw picked up Lumi by his stomach 'floof' and walked back over to Melissa's small table.
"Oh uh- Hi again! So.. I was just thinking since I'm a Second year I could..uhm, help out your studying?"
Is there really a need to say anything about that statement?
It seemed that second year Lucille was just as awkward as first year Lucille.
So much for a fresh start.
At least Lumi was happy at Hogwarts, Luci reminded herself.
Always finding a way back to her leg, the brown tabby probably knew all the best shortcuts within the school's endless hallways and corridors. Not even mentioning how he loved it when first years cooed and petted him in the Ravenclaw common room.
"You silly kitty."
Lucille smiled at the cat while Lumi made a small purring sound in response.
Lumi was in quite the playful mood today, so perhaps he and the small grey cat 'Kato' could hit it off.
Why, how adorable that'd be.

While Melissa was just minding her own business and studying, Lucille came over and asked if she wanted any help. "O-oh. I mean, if you want to-" she said. She was not ready at all. "If it doesn't bother you of course." To be honest, the ginger didn't actually have a lot of studying left to do. She just had one more subject and she was almost finished so she thought, I don't really need help but the girl...what was her name? Oh yeah, Lucille seemed like she has a lot. Maybe I could help her- She didn't know what to do. It was just...awkward and weird. How could a first year help a second year at studying? She was probably too focused on her thoughts that she totally forgot about Kato.
The kitten was now pawing furiously at Melissa's hand, not wanting to be forgotten. She realized that she stopped stroking her kitten. As she continued stroking her cat again, she said, "Actually, I'm almost done with my studying...Do you need help with anything? It seemed like you were really stressed earlier-" to Lucille. Then, Kato leapt off Mel's lap and trotted over to Lumi, the second year's cat. Well, the cat was actually in Lucille's hands so Kato just sat there at the Ravenclaw's leg, looking at her fellow cat.@Lucille Williams
