Late. He was late. Whoever he was. Lark had offered to help out one of the fellow first years, a Gryffindor... a house she was starting to realize held a vast amount of varying personalities from her own. When she offered up assistance for studying with others for Charms... she had not expected the other person to be so lackadaisical. Not only had he ignored the two owls she had sent to him the past week but also missed their original day to meetup and study last week.

Tapping her fingers along one of the open pages about proper wand techniques, Lark impatiently glanced around the study room. Most of the other groups here were already busy working away.. and others were fully engaged with their own work. "This was a stupid idea..." Lark groaned as she sat up in her seat. Her stomach rumbling was the only hint that it had been well over a couple hours that she had been waiting for the boy. Stewing in her anger made the girl's hair begin to shrink upwards and turn a dark shade of plum. Grumbling inwardly to herself cursing whoever this boy was and wasting her time once again, Lark was oblivious to her abilities acting on their own. This whole metamorphmagus thing occasionally took hold without her realizing. Yanking off her long Ravenclaw house robes, she tossed them over the back of her chair and leaned forward on her elbows, chin digging into the palm of her hand. She could be doing her own homework... working ahead... studying Potions.. Meeting up with her friends for lunch but instead here she was. Waiting.

When he got here.. boy was she going to give him a piece of her mind...

@Lark Flaer

The whole morning itself had been quite a hassle. Weren't Sunday's typically the day or rest or some such thing? John had wanted to spend the weekend quietly enjoying a book in the Common Room or Courtyard... however he had been put into some sort of study group for Charms.. There was a silver haired girl that sat not far from him who seemed like a know-it-all, answering questions and getting her spells right a portion of the time in class before some of the others. He found it annoying.. clearly not because she beat him at a lot of the casting or in other classes with grades. Clearly. Not the reason. At all. Not at all. It was.

Dragging himself from the Gryffindor Common's, John shouldered his bag and made his way towards the Study Room. He was a bit worried as he had never spoken to the girl, at least not more than a handful of words about meeting time and place for this project. Half the time he didn't even see her in class... although some other girl with red hair often took her place. So strange. The people here were so strange... She better not make me give her any back homework... It isn't my fault she skips classes.. Grumbling to himself he found his way into the room and glanced around for the girl. She didn't even look like she was here? Fantastic, was she also skipping this study session? John gritted his teeth and jammed his hands into his pockets as he walked further into the room, keeping an eye out for this girl.

Alright that was it.. Lark was about to give up and started stacking her books in preparation to leave when she saw a tall dirty blonde haired boy wander his way in. Crossing her arms over her chest she watched as he wandered by her table. Seriously? Was he that much of a.... Lark cleared her throat loud enough for the boy to hear, along with some others who gave her a look for interrupting their studies.

"Are you just going ta ignore me?" Lark waited for him to reply before fighting back a massive eye roll directed at the Gryffindor. Honestly.. how could he had been sorted into that house. At least some of them had some sort of manners... Wasn't he supposed to be some prim and proper Pureblood. Stretching her legs out under the table she pushed at the chair across from her to block part of his path. "John, isn't it?" Lark tried to dredge up some form of a smile. "We're supposed ta go over Charms...?" Opening her textbook back up she drew her legs under her chair once more and sat up straighter, eyes still watching John. There was something about him that she didn't trust...
