Benjamin (or Benny as his friends call him) is a good boy with a big heart and a knack for gardening. Reading is not something he himself has a good history with. He does best when someone shows him how to do something.
Physically he does not look like a fit boy. He has a bit of a tummy to him and messy brown hair that he usually parts down the middle. His eyes are a soft green and there's a prominent gap between his teeth. He stands at about 4 foot 9in and weighs around 90lbs.
Typically, when not in uniform of course, he prefers to wear semiformal clothing. It makes him feel a little bit better about himself.
As far as gardening goes he and his mother keep a garden at their home. They grow vegetables and flowers of all sorts for both muggle customers looking for organic food and wizards looking for potion ingredients.
His mother is Peggy Goldem and his father is Daniel Goldmen. His mother works selling potion ingredients and his father is in Ministry of Magic's. He spent time in America and is helping the ministry move it's records to machines that cannot be affected by most spells. Currently both parents are living and well.
His mother was the leading force in his life due to his father's position in the Ministry of Magic. It caused him to miss birthdays, get home late and start work early. So he spent most of his time learning about plants and such with his mother. He was a curious lad and his mother had no problem guiding him. Thanks to her he grew up knowing to treat others with the same kindness you show the Earth.
Just like most children.
At around his tenth birthday his mother was holding her breath. Since both her and his father had wizards and witches through their bloodline she was waiting for some sort of sign that he would be a magic user as well. Of course all worries that he wasn't was put to bed when he received his letter.
At his family home he has a pet bird. Nothing too large. A small parakeet named Frank that calls bedroom home. Hopefully mom doesn't mind taking care of him for a while.
