Stella was born on the outskirts of London. Her family was poor and an outcast on the streets. She lived with her mother, father, two sisters, and three brothers: Annabelle, Breanna, Knox, Will, and Peyton. Stella thought her life was perfect, even though her and her family was deadfully poor and on the verge of starving.

Then Stella's favorite sister, Annabelle, caught some sort of flu that couldn't be cured. Stella was by her bedside when she took her last breath. Her mother died of depression soon after. Stella's father became sheltered and didn't speak to anyone.

He wouldn't answer the post, either, which had become strangely full over the past days. He burned every single letter. It was the only thing that gave him joy then. Meanwhile, strange things began to happen to Stella. She found she could do uncanny bursts of magic when she was angry or sad.

Stella tried to practice, but it always caused a mess. She had to be witty and smart to explain the sudden floods and fires. But Stella was also very afraid. Her town was extremely old-fashioned and looked down upon witchcraft. She could be killed, burned, or worse. Then, as Stella was stewing in her tiny bedroom, Peyton came in as she got frustrated with the recent deaths and turned their small bed to ashes. He swore not to tell a word, but it leaked out to Stella's other brothers and sisters. They also, swore to secrecy.

A little while after, her father's friend from university had come to pay a visit. He promised to make Father a very rich man. On their stroll to his country home, naturally, the street gang and their leader, the scarred, normally panicked, Billy Rosbinskons (whose real name was Edward), came to pick on them. He teased them about their dead mother and their dead sister.

Stella put out her hand to tell him to stop, but set his hat alight instead. He reported to the town council, and, since they didn't believe killing a child was a good omen, they threw Stella out onto the streets. Her father didn't even object. Soon, her eleventh birthday came around and a burly large man, a wizard, picked her out of the dust and tried to brush her off a bit.

Then he handed Stella a Hogwarts acceptance letter and here she is, in a new world entirely.

Looks: Stella has spiky blue-black hair, and pale skin. Her eyes are generally bright green and catlike, but they always look kind of different every day due to the light changing. Stella generally likes to wear leather vests, or at least some article of black. The only shoes she'll ever wear unless she's going somewhere nice are tall black combat boots. Stella is quite flexible, and her legs are always bent in an awkward position when seeing her.

Personality: Although on the outside she may seem like a Hufflepuff, Stella is most definitely not. She is sometimes aggresive, especially when someone brings up her worst secret: the name of the boy who got her kicked out of town. To people she is close to, Stella is slightly loving and caring. She doesn't care for most of her "friends" though. She has a sense of humor, but she doesn't often get in trouble, even though she loves to prank people. Lots of other people on the streets said Stella was a bit loony, which made her defensive of her honor and of the people she prefers.

Stella often has a big mouth, and she rambles a lot, but even though she can be shy occasionally, she is also bold and outgoing. She loves to join things and she has a passion for writing and music. Stella also loves to bake, even though she couldn't back where she lived before. She always sticks up for muggleborns, and she is quick to dislike people without getting to know them, but Stella trys to control this. Stella also loves adventures and meeting new people who accept her as she is, even if that might mean haughty and rude. She has a secret for charming adults with her upscale British accent, and her silver tongue is almost impossible to resist.
