Kevin is a physically unimpressive wizard of an even 5'0 in height and physically hasn't displayed signs of entering puberty nearing 100 pounds. His blonde hair is rarely kept short and always wild through a mix of not brushing and sometimes deliberate sabotage on his part. His looks take more after his grandfather than his father.
A Half-blood from a wizard father and a muggle-born mother, he grew up with roots in both worlds. He utterly adores his muggle grandparents - a physicist and a doctor though as a result he's very inquisitive. In fact, one could even joke he's a born researcher more suited for Ravenclaw after a long conversation with him.
His daily life was mostly in the Muggle world given the family residence in Dalkey. It was where his mother's hometown and his father wasn't exactly picky. In fact one could say his father enjoyed Muggle watching - even taking him to a local pub where he became fast friends with Cassadin - the kid of the owner. In fact, in the close family one could say curiosity is a common point - his paternal grandfather a magical researcher in the field of medicine.
The boys regular and energetic play often disguised (some would say exaggerated) magical mishaps which was concerning to the family since Cassadin was a Muggle. Miraculously enough, both were accepted into Hogwarts, much to the relief, surprise and elation of the parties involved.
