General attitude: Jade has a very complex and difficult personality to both understand and handle. Their reserved nature often gave them the appearance of a coward, earning them a handful of years spent alienated from peers and group activities. Nevertheless, they were the top of their class and were wise beyond their years, even if they didn't make the wisest decisions. Jade's young age coupled with general lack of life experience has weathered them into someone naive and often lacking basic common sense (their mother would always complain that they acted like a ditz), but rather than train themself out of the habit like any other child their age would do, they took it in stride. They're a dreamer and an idealist at heart, and frankly, they don't believe that aspect of themself will ever change.

History //

Birth country: France
Hometown: Paris
Childhood: Jade Dubois was born on the 21st of October to doting parents Mary and Alan Dubois. They were one of five siblings who were born into a family of pure-blooded wizards and witches, a handful of them going down in history as noteworthy scholars and professors. Jade would grow up with their elder siblings Jaqueline, Elinor, and Camille (The triplets), Jasper (Second eldest), and Joel (First eldest).

The triplets are graduates of Ravenclaw - which came as a surprise to many since they're a loud and crass group of sisters. If it wasn't for their variant personalities then it would be hard to distinguish the three from one another.
Jasper graduated from Slytherin--top of his class. Unlike his rowdy younger sisters, he's quiet, sophisticated, and calculative. A force to be reckoned with for sure. Like his mother--Mary--he has shoulder-length black hair and solemn brown eyes.
Arthur graduated from Slytherin just like his younger brother did and the majority of his forefathers before him. Sayge has to be the closest with Joel since the day they could walk. Joel's a very friendly and down to earth type of guy, and it wasn't a surprise that he would adopt a scholarly position within a great school of thought overseas. Even though his aspirations were just breaths away from being accomplished, he vanished on the day that he would've been allocated as an academic overseer in the East.

Jade's childhood was rather dull and, well, average. At least, as average as a spoiled rich kid could get. There was never that sense of adventure or thrill in his life. He yearned for it, he needed it. This led up to his rebellious stages (Which he's currently still stuck in). He began skipping school and exploring around the busy city of Paris, but to no avail did he find anything worth exploring.

Jade's childhood was rather dull. At least, as dull as a spoiled rich kid's life could get. There was never that sense of adventure or thrill in their life. They yearned for it, they needed it. This led to the rebellious streak that tainted most of their elementary and middle school years, which was quite the juxtaposition to their often uptight and rule-abiding appearance. They began skipping school and in place of learning, they explored. About the gurgling creak who whispered encrypted words that only the earth could understand, through dense trees and shrubbery which hid tiny creatures the size of their pinky.

Little pockets of memories cloud their mind whenever dwelling on life back home, a much simpler and idyllic life. England was the opposite - compiled of everything that they hated.

It was only when they turned seven did their family send them to live with their aunt in England where they intended to broaden their connections to kids their age and enter into better institutes around the area. This was around the same age where they had discovered their magical abilities, too. It happened back in France. As usual, they unintentionally provoked a fight that could've easily been avoided, but the boys who were offended by their mannerisms found no fun in that and continued to egg the young child on. Once the fight turned physical and a boy twice their age came lunging for their neck, Jade stuck out a hand to brace for impact right as the child went to tackle them. However, strangely, the impact never came. They tentatively opened their eyes to what had happened, and they were thoroughly surprised at what they saw. There, right on a thick branch on the tree that towered over the school children, was the boy with who instigated a fight with them. He clung to the tree, yelling for help as tears slipped from their eyes. Horrified by what they could only assume was their doing, he ran back to his house atop a hill, locking himself in his room for the rest of the night.

When their parents caught wind of the news, they were more than proud of their youngest son. They were simply elated! They didn't really care about the victim of the act, they were simply excited to see them express such a strong sense of magic at this age. That was when they sent them off to England with nothing but a suitcase full of clothes and an album spilling with pictures of their family. They were sent to their aunt to train and strengthen their magical knowledge on what it meant to be a wizard, but they never got a chance to really practice until being recruited into Hogwarts. They were hesitant at first, but their desire to learn quickly began to grow as they thought of how disappointed their older brother would be if he found out that he wouldn't be pursuing their future as a wizard. This fueled them to continue this grueling tutoring for four years up until the point when they received their acceptance letter into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry...via an owl. It was very peculiar, but their aunt only praised them, and their family back home in France were simply overjoyed. For once, they thought they'd actually met their expectations...and the feeling that came with it was pure warmth and bliss.
