Euphie was born to a muggle father and a witch mother. They live in a muggle city, where her father, Willem Darling, works as an Optometrist. Her mother, Elladora Prewett-Darling, works, part-time in a flower shop, where she is able to use a bit of magic to keep the flowers beautiful and bright.

Euphie, a quiet child, went to muggle school until she got her letter from Hogwarts. She has a couple of friends (Tristan and Trinity Peek), but still prefer a good book to the possibility that spending too much time with them might reveal her non-muggle nature. She isn't ashamed of her magical blood, but rather, wishes to keep it only among her family. Her mother has taught her the importance of self-preservation when it comes to muggles, her father being a very rare exception.

Her first sign of magic was when she was 4 and their family left the market without buying her a Dragon fruit. Euphie didn't know what it was, but it was pink and pretty. As they got back to the car, they looked over to see Euphie playing with one of the fruits. A wondrous smile on her face.

Now that she is headed off to Hogwarts, she looks forward to making other magical friends. Ones she doesn't have to be careful around.

Euphemia is outgoing, but a practical girl.
She loves music and has played the piano since she was 6. She might like sweets a little too much.
She mumbles and sings to herself with she is nervous or thinking.
She wears glasses...and she needs them dearly.
She can fall asleep almost anywhere.
She always keeps a journal with her, where she will write bits of music, fun facts, lyric ideas, and information she doesn't want to forget.
She, along with her mother, talks to plants as if they can hear and respond.

Euphemia is a shorter than average girl with light ginger hair and blue eyes. Her hair is usually seen in a messy updo. Despite her constant consumption of sugary sweets, she keeps a small frame as well.
