History

Born April 17th, 2006, Evelyn Rowe was brought into a Muggle family in the city of Liverpool, England, where she would be raised over the next eleven years. Raised by her mother, Emily Rowe, and her father, Anthony Rowe, alongside an older brother and sister, who were named Alexander and Samantha, Evelyn's childhood was anything but lonely. She always had somebody around to watch her, or help her with whatever she wanted. As the youngest sibling, just about everyone in her family had a soft spot for her. She wanted for nothing, and even though she might get on her families nerves, or vice versa, life was good.

As she continued to grow, Evelyn became more imaginative, curious about the world, and rambunctious. She enjoys going outside with her family on trips when she can, and tries to find a balance between that and day dreaming. That's all when she's not trying to get online, of course, as any child does. However, while being raised her parents did her best to not overexpose their children to smartphones and the like, so they wouldn't grow overly attached to them.

Upon reaching her eleventh birthday, and discovering her magical heritage, which she also learned she received from her mother's side of the family, Evelyn was ecstatic. This was the very kind of thing that a kid like her dreamed about - being special and getting whisked away to a magical land. She completely understood that she was far from the only magical being in the world, and that she wasn't all that special at all in that context, but she liked to pretend, at least for a little bit. But even past that, this meant that there was an entirely new, hidden world that Evelyn had never even heard of out there. She wanted to explore it as soon as possible, she wanted to learn all of its secrets.

Her family was, well, less excited than she was, and frankly they were even downright baffled. Evelyn was the young child who they all usually doted on. The prospect of her going off to some magical boarding school for the year worried them. Sending her off alone worried them. Her older siblings, slightly less than their parents, don't entirely grasp just what their heritage means for their little sister. To them, it seems like a silly game of sorts, or nothing real. Certainly nothing with consequence. They felt slightly envious of their sister, sure, but they were mainly concerned and wished her the best as well, all while trying to get their head around the situation.

Excited for her first year at Hogwarts, Evelyn is eager to learn all that she felt she's missed in her life time. The magical may seem mundane to those who've lived with it all their lives, but to her this was a new beginning of sorts, and she simply couldn't wait to get started.

Personality

Evelyn is a happy, occasionally hyper child. She has a strong tendency to daydream as much as she does to actually learn. She finds that the two go hand in hand together, because if she learns more she'll have more to think about. However, as anyone of her teachers could tell you, they didn't always work as well together as she thought, with her spacing out in class more than a few times. Still, despite this she's been a very attentive, if not aloof, throughout all her years of school.

Perhaps Evelyn's greatest drawback though, is her naivety. Because of her somewhat nurtured upbringing, at times Evelyn can take someone at their word a bit too quickly. She's a child, so of course she's going to be a bit more easily tricked or it might be easier to mess with her than it would an older student. However, despite her book smarts, her social awareness can sometimes leave a lot to be desired. It's not that she can't read a situation, but rather that Evelyn is simply too trusting at times, and takes people at their word more often than not. Her family has slightly coddled her in the past, so she'd never really had a reason to doubt anything they ever said, and carried this mindset in her day to day life. That's not to say she's stupid though. If somebody were to blatantly trick her, she'd be far more guarded against that person than usual. However, at the moment, something like a well worded apology could possibly win her over again, as Evelyn generally likes to assume the best in people. Despite having talents academically, she still has a long way to go when dealing with people.

Because Evelyn has such a happy attitude towards people, she's a pretty friendly person. She can be stubborn at times, but this brashness also means she's not afraid to simply go up to somebody and start a conversation.

Preferring to be called Evie when speaking to someone casually, Evelyn Rowe may not always be the most socially aware person, but that doesn't mean she's afraid to try.

Liverpool provided a safe place for Evelyn to grow, and the city has become a sense of identity and pride for her. She's a huge fan of the Football Club, and likes to say that she feels comfortable with swimming and large bodies of water thanks to the city's coastal location. Oh, and she also has a lot of pride for the Beatles, because of course she does.

Lastly, her introduction to the Magical World and admission to Hogwarts has really made an impact on Evelyn. While she's still very fond of her Muggle life back home, at the moment, going into her first year of school, everything back home seems more or less incomplete. Now that she knows magic is out there, she wants to learn all she can about it, because she can't, or rather doesn't want to imagine a world without it. However, despite how excitable she is at the moment, going into her time at Hogwarts, as things become more routine and she matures, she will undoubtedly calm down a great deal over the course of her time there.

Appearance

Slightly shorter than average, Evie is a young, fair skinned girl. She has blonde hair, deep ocean blue eyes, and a nose lightly adorned with freckles. When it comes to her style, Evie will change her look depending on how she feels that day. She'll sometimes style her hair to fall down straight, or tie it up in a pony tail, or perhaps something else. She is slightly darker than pale skinned, and has a slim, and at her age, being a first year, a nearly scrawny and diminutive, figure. At least, some might say so - Evelyn would simply argue that she hasn't hit her growth spurt yet.
