Physical Description

Khris has soft, curly blond hair that seems always just this side of needing to be cut, bright silver blue eyes that are always nervously lowered, and petite lips that seem perpetually pressed into a thin line that holds far to much concern for a child his age.

A small thing, Khris stands approximately 127 cm tall and can't weigh more than 5 stone much to his chagrin. Though well proportioned he is definitely on the delicate side and what his mother's muggle side of the family would call "Faerie like".

His father laughs at the notion and has shown several pictures that prove otherwise.

Personality and Hobbies

Quiet, bookish, and shy, Khris has always appriciated the beauty of a cozy corner and a good book, his room holding a collection of stories from both sides of his of his family. Great volumes containing dragons and spells, simple leaflets with illustrations that darted about the page, and of course the traditional books of his mother's childhood.

Reading, watching films, card collecting, and writing are some of his favourite pastimes but truly the love of his young existence is drawing. There is rarely a scrap of paper in his house that hasn't been marked by graphite or ink

A Brief History

Growing up Khris always knew of his heritage and the possibility of being a wizard but it wasn't really until he received his letter that it sunk in.

His reaction was a mixed one.

Unfortunately teasing in the young ages of school made Khris a cautious sort and though he had far more confidence than one would assume, he found that staying quiet and lying low was often times the safest bet to survival in school. Being smart does not equate to being fearful after all.

In a way the letter was a blessing and a curse.

He was grateful to have the chance to be amongst those who understood the intricacies of floo powder, and the reality of giants but still...

Going away meant more reasons to be teased during the summer, more reasons to be considered odd.

And then what if he wasn't accepted at Hogwarts either?
