Background
Bailey Euna Byrne is a young chestnut-haired girl born from a lovely and caring family. Both her parents used to work for the British Ministry of Magic during the Second Wizarding War to provide pieces of information concerning certain branches of Pure-Blood family, but mostly to acquire protection for themselves as the Byrnes family used to be enrolled in dark magic. Esmeralda Byrnes and Winifred Byrnes were Death Eaters. They were also the grandparents of the young girl. Destroying the perfect reputation of this pure-blood family, those individuals are currently purging their sentences in Azkaban.

Nevertheless, this ominous and lugubrious past never affected the young demoiselle. Her parents made sure of that fact by keeping her close to the family house in Glasgow. The Byrne's daughter never got the chance to get enrolled in Muggle school as she longed to and got homeschooled since she was at the age of going to an education building. Bailey grew up alone without any siblings to keep her company. The only exception was her parent's house elf, Twitt which she always considered her only friend.

From a young age, Bailey's parents discovered that their daughter was living in a separate world from them. A world that they could never reach. Bailey was used to be an introvert and to be living in her own rhythm which was different from the rest of them all. It caused her parents to worry and they decided to send her away to her aunt for a while in the hope that she would get better and change. Unfortunately for them, upon her return, Bailey stayed the same and only developed a need for solitude even bigger than what she had before. However, her parents decided to accept the fact that their daughter was different and to take care of her as much as they could.

When she reached nine years old, Bailey caught a severe illness which made her rest in bed for a few months in eventually lead to the amputation of her left leg as an atrocious infection had grown into it. This unfortunate event scarred the young girl for the rest of her life and made her lose self-confidence.

After the accident, surprisingly, Bailey started opening more to her parents and expressed a passion for Quidditch, the wizard sport. From that day, her parent would always hear her rambling about it, expressing how much she wanted to have a professional career in it when she grew up.

Before her eleventh birthday, The small family decided to move to Hogsmeade, to be closer to Bailey if she ever needed it. Her parents were scared that she might lack in self-preservation especially as she needed to take care of her prosthesis.

On the evening of August 18, Bailey received her letter for Hogwarts, the prestigious Wizarding school. At last, she would be free from her shining prison.
