Linyum Hortensia, is a daughter of Leon Hortensia and Ivory Albright. They're a small family living in Kingswood, they have a great mansion with many empty rooms, also a very big garden full of hortensias alas the last name. She likes hortensias as much as her mother does, she even thinks that her mother fell in love with her father mostly because of the hortensias.
She has a special bond with her mother who taught her everything included herbology. While her father is away which is caused by his being an auror, her mother is always in home with her. Ivory Albright Hortensia is a pure-blood that she did not known unless she was eleven. Her family died in an accident which resulted in being lived in a muggle family so she cares so much about her family especially her one and only child Linyum. Ivory knew lots of things about muggles. She is even telling muggle stories like Machbet and Robin Hood. She learned reading and writing in muggle school. When she told her daughter there is no changing stairs in there, Linyum was shocked.
Unlike her mother, his father was strict. Being an auror is not easy and needs discipline. So, he is used to be like that in home or anywhere else. However, he cares about Linyum as much as Ivory does. He loves to see her daughter' pureness, he wants to protect it. He is sadly and mostly away, when he is home, he shares his all time with her family. Actually, he is the type that die alone because of his treats, but his girls which are Ivory and Linyum, means more than anything without pondering. Actually, this is why Ivory fell in love with him.
Linyum is an introvert that becomes extrovert among her friends. However, she loves to spend time in the garden alone more. She loves everything about gardening. She even separated wild plants and hortensias since they would not harm each other. She is just afraid of serpents in the garden or in life.
Her father wants her in Slytherin to grow mature, learn life and survive from adult's agony in heart. He believes in the other houses are going after unnecessary things. They can be necessary but not all the time. For example;
Glory is not permanent.
Loyalty does not mean anything unless it is mutual, but he does not believe it can be mutual.
Knowledge does not have any uses without sharing, but he learned people's selfishness about knowledge in a hard way.
Hence, Linyum thinks different.
How can she be in Slytherin with being curious and lovefull about muggles and being afraid of Slytherin's animal which is serpent?
