Son of a Wizard father and a Muggle-born Witch mother, Marcus grew up surrounded by magic, so it wasn't really a surprise when he started manifesting his abilities at a very young age, such as refilling his glass of water once when he was very thirsty without getting near the fridge and unlocking his parents room's door when the late family's dog got locked inside. Hes a quiet, polite boy, without many friends, and very attached to his mother, an employee in the Daily Prophet.

He's a thin boy, somewhat tall for his age, with short black hair and brown eyes.

His mother is a Quidditch reporter and his father works for the Ministry in the Department of Magical Education.

Despite not being that close to him, Marcus dreams of following his dad's footsteps and work in the Education field when he grows up.

Being from a magical family, he didn't have many contact with other kids apart from a couple of children that lived in the same village and his cousins, who he mostly saw in the holidays.

He spends most of his time reading books, thanks to his father's personal library.

He has an irrational fear of heights.

Marcus awaits anxiously for the day his Hogwarts letter arrives, and in the meantime, he reads whatever he can find about the school.
