Emmanuel Min Requiza is a very optimistic child, seeing the fun and joy in most situations he finds himself in or is presented to. However this doesn’t mean he’s ignorant to the dark-side of the world, no he simply chose to not let such things dampen his mood. Trickster by heart, he loves to attempt pranks and is found with other children categories as ‘problem children’. But that’s usually the extent of his misbehavior, since in actuality he’s nice to everyone, though admittedly a bit on the soft spoken side. Like all people one earth, Emmanuel has pet peeves, which includes interrupted from sleep, entitled snobs, having to repeat himself.

11 years ago, on one of many Caribbean Islands, the world was blessed with a small energetic child. His parents, Afro-Caribbean descendants themselves, sought to live a life of peace after leaving the world that miracles were created by man, instead of god — yes! The little child Emmanuel's parents were once a practicing wizard and witch, retiring from official duties only years prior to his birth. Why? Mostly due to old age and not wanting the same danger filled life for their future child. However the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, although both parents come from a line of wizards and witches, both had been tainted with muggle blood after a drastic decline of magic talent and the woes and strife of the world. Thus his parents didn’t have too high of hopes when it came to his potential awakening. But surprise surprise when the little Requiza was around the age of 10, one short year away from the normal admittance age, the Caribbean family had moved to London, England for work and had their son make friends with their friends' children.

Well on one particular day, the children like numerous times before, found the large tree sitting in his yard the source of interest, timing each other on how quickly they could climb, and to ultimately just check out the view from above. Regardless of the times told to stop, they did anyway, but something was different this time. As confident as he was, when Emmanuel tried climbing down he had a gut feeling something was going to happen, a sudden spike in fear of height that he never had before. ‘Snap!’, of a branch and his was perpendicular to the tree stump and seconds from impact — nothing. Unknowingly at some point his eyes closed, and he thought it was the end for him, cursing his stupidity for climbing such a high tree. Slowly opening his eyes after shots from friends and parents, it was weird to see that the world was upside down, the blood rushing towards his head. It was the first time he used magic, although an accident, this day would mark his aptitude to become a wizard. In regards to subtle residue magic from birth, it was long gone, though he never had noticeable moments of using magic til now.

The following year, with braided black hair, sun-kissed skin and glasses sitting in front of two orbs of honey which were his eyes, Emmanuel Min Requiza was ready to follow in his parents footsteps.
