Hey there!
My name is Akko Himashu. I am eleven years old, and just had my first instance of using what I believe is magic. I can't believe it...it was accidental, of course, but still.
See, my grandmother was talking bad about my biological parents (who lived in Japan and moved me to Great Britain when they were still alive) saying that they gave me up and never really cared about me. As I result, with a single glare her mouth became stuck open just as she was about to continue, and stayed like that for a whole day!
So that's how I know I have magic. I may be going to Hogwarts, cuz' I live in Great Britain with my grandmother and grandfather. Neither are wizards, naturally, their too dull to be anyways!
I can speak some Japanese, due to the fact that I lived in Japan until I was three. The reason I live with my grandmother and grandfather is because my mum and dad gave me up, due to lack of money. About a week after they placed me with my grandmother and grandfather, my parents died in a house fire. (I miss them terribly.) My grandparents were dubbed my legal guardians, and now I live with them. I still use English as my first language, however, cuz' my grandparents won't accept anything different.
Now, as I'm sure you can tell, I'm a female. I'm a bit of a tomboy, however, and prefer playing Muggle video games to painting my nails. I've been called a talented artist and extremely intelligent, which I suppose is true. I use plenty of American slang (see my use of cuz') and enjoy watching anime, reading manga and American comic books (Spiderman is my favorite hero) and I absolutely love making sushi!!
Now for my appearance. I am rather short, a bit scrawny, with a pretty face set with large brown slanted eyes, framed by nice eyebrows and long eyelashes. I have black hair that covers my face most of the time, because I never bother to brush it. I usually wear jeans and a tee-shirt, paired with my favorite dark grey hoodie. I have a silver bracelet with a charm of a cat on it, given to me by my mother shortly before she died. I never wear makeup, and can hardly ever be forced to dress up.
That's all for now, thank you and goodbye.
