Sage Miller always thought she was different, because of her hair and her eyes and freckles. But she never expected to get a letter from Hogwarts. After reading it, it sort of explained some of the things that had happened that she could never explain. Whenever she was angry or sad, random things would happen.
When she was four years old, she experienced something rather odd. She was running around the house when only her mother was home. She bumped into a table that had a very rare vase on it. Immediately she felt bad and wished somehow she could fix it. While her mother was yelling at her about running around the house and breaking things, Sage looked at the vase and began to cry. Right before both of their very eyes, the vase started to put itself back together. Before they knew it, the vase was sitting on floor, unbroken and good as new. Her mother told her father about what she saw, refusing to believe it, he ignores his wife's accusations that something was wrong with their daughter.

Sage was originally from Ireland because of her father, her mother was from London and the little family moved there when she was three. When Sage turned eight, her parents had another girl and named her Delilah. Then her 11th birthday hit and not long after she got her letter to Hogwarts. Her parents had a huge fight and her father came clean that his grandfather was a wizard.

Sage was always brave and kind. For her 6th birthday, she started a fundraiser to raise money to give kids in other countries fresh water. She got all of her family in it and even some churches helped her also. All together she raised about $50,000 to help other kids. Her parents were so proud of her and so was everyone else.

Sage loves to read and loves animals, she's good at comforting others when they need, she can even calm animals at times with her soft voice which is slightly thick due to her accent being two different ethnicities. Her sister is the same way but she will always be perfect because there was a chance that she wouldn't be going to Hogwarts. Her parents hardly write or speak to her unless they ask if she needs anything or asks her to do some chores.

It seemed as if getting the letter changed her life forever, which it did but in ways, she didn't think would happen, like her friends and her family who some pretends she doesn't exist.
