Ben MacAllister is quite friendly. He keeps his heart on his sleeve and will do anything to protect his friends. Ben will always be a shoulder to cry on. People notice his kind demeanor and his sense of humor and befriend him, but stay for his loyalty. However, Ben often thinks without acting and can be very impulsive. He also finds himself in a bit of trouble, since he loves to learn by experience. Ben loves the adrenaline rush of being a rowdy child. Despite this, he has a strong work ethic and can set his mind to things that he is interested in. He is very determined to succeed, and make his parents proud.

Ben is slim and of an average height for an 11 year old boy. He has medium length dark brown hair which is usually quite messy and sky blue almond shaped eyes. His lips are thin, and his nose is slightly turned up. His head is a perfect oval. His clothing style of choice is quite relaxed; he absolutely loathes formal clothing.

Ben was born on the 17th of May in Dublin, Ireland. His father, Walter, manages insurance while his mother, Susan, runs a restaurant. His family moved to Mullingar when he was 6. Ben is an only child, and is severely spoiled by his parents as a result. Ben, however, doesn't let this affect him much, and treats those with less than him with respect. His childhood was great: he spent many holidays traveling around Europe, and he spent plenty of time with his parents.

Ben's magical abilities first surfaced when he was a student at a Catholic primary school. While doing coursework in his room, he would accidentally set his pencils on fire, and his papers would fly across the room. Ben was so frightened he stopped doing coursework, and his grades plummeted as a result. Ben is frightened of his new power, but wants to learn more about it. He also wants to know what he can do with said power. Ben hopes he will find out soon, and he hopes he can use his power to help the world.
