Personality
Piper is a bit of a spitfire and can usually be found in search of any kind of adventure. A perfect blend of her parents, she’s both vivacious and bright. She values her personal relationships above all else and will do almost anything for those she loves. Intuitive, intelligent, and playful; Piper’s only goal in life is to enjoy it and learn as much as possible—preferably with friends. While she’s not terribly interested in makeup or boy bands, she’s not one to dig for worms in the mud either. Although she’s usually kind and polite, Piper has no issue speaking her mind when she feels it’s necessary, even if it will cause confrontation.
Even though she loves to learn, she would always much rather be having fun and as a result will occasionally get involved in mischief.

Appearance
While she prefers to appear feminine, Piper doesn’t put too much importance on her looks and keeps her wavy red hair short and easy to maintain. She’s of average build, albeit fairly spritely, and considered to be rather beautiful. She is fair-skinned and freckled.

Backstory
Piper was born and raised in Kilkenny, Ireland as an only child by Lloyd and Charlotte Moriarty. Her father is a shy philosophy professor and her mother is an outspoken, free-spirited witch from the United States that had been backpacking through the country when they met.
It was hard for her to sit still or be quiet growing up. Her only interests were in exploring the world hands-on and meeting everyone in it. It wasn’t until she began attending public school that she had to practice restraint and it often didn’t end well. Many of her teachers regarded her as slow and completely unruly; neither of which were true. Her classmates poked fun at her mixed accent and she became reluctant to bond with them or speak to strangers. Because of this and in spite of her desire to socialize, she became withdrawn from her peers and found solace in books. While she was reading during recess, a boy that teased her everyday knocked her book from her hands. In response, she cursed at him and pushed him to the ground. When he ran off to tell the teacher, his shoelaces mysteriously kept coming undone and he tripped and fell. Piper thought nothing of it but luck until she told her mother the story and Charlotte became inexplicably excited. However, it wasn’t until her tenth birthday that her mother told her they were witches.
