Quincy Hughes is the daughter of Callamedra and John Hughes. Her father works at the Daily Prophet, and her mother is a stay at home mom- though she often helps take care of others' homes while they are away. She has a nine-year-old sister, Amy, who gets along alright with Quincy. She is a sassy, fun-loving girl who enjoys humor and being kind to others. She is loyal to her friends, and believes in justice and playing fair. Quincy often dreams of one-day being a professor at Hogwarts, though she is unsure what she would want to teach. She is extremely energetic, and can sometimes be easily distracted. Though Quincy was born in America, her family moved to London when she was eight years old to take care of her grandmother. She discovered she was magical shortly after, having been so angry at her sister that she made her hair change into a putrid shade of green. This is actually how Quincy was inspired to ask her mom to make her hair a beautiful shade of blue. She was so thrilled with how it matched her eyes, that blue became her favorite color. Besides her hair and eye color, Quincy is a fit, extremely short, girl. She did gymnastics for five years, before participating in a dance in fourth grade and falling in love. To this day, Quincy still dances with grace and passion.
