Description:
Jason Snider is a boy who makes you think of a loyal but, cautious cat. He has very narrow green eyes that are like two emeralds. His thick, curly, brick-red hair is very short and is worn in an utilitarian, precise style when he decides to groom it. He is tall and has a strong build for his young age. His skin is white but, tans very easy in the sun which gives him a type of olive skin. He has a large nose and prominent ears. His wardrobe is attractive and sophisticated, with a mostly black and silver color scheme.

Personality/Traits:
Jason has very unique character traits to his personality. Jason is reckless at times may be due to the factor of his sense of justice and will try any method to get a just result (you can say his bravery makes him do outlandish things, that a normal or wizard person wouldn't think of doing.) Responsible, for a boy his age he takes his studies and priorities very seriously. And last his honesty, Jason is a very honest boy who tells people how it is whether it be positive or negative. He doesn't intend on hurting peoples feelings he just doesn't like to lie to anyone and have them feel betrayed in the end. Due to his past, he tends to keep to himself, even though he is friendly with everyone. He tends to sit alone reading in the library or out in the forest area where he can see nature.

A Tragedy Beyond Repair and A New Start

"JASON……JASON WAKE UP." Screaming could be heard in his ears, the constant ringing in his head kept making his head pound and the screaming from what seemed like a female didn't help. As his eyes began to focus, a scarlet haired girl with bright blue eyes were staring at him with tears filling in them as they fell down upon his face. The air was thick filled with smoke it made his nose and throat hurt, he could hardly breathe but, words were able to escape his mouth. The girls constant sobbing made him think if she even heard him at all. "What…..happened…. Sophia?" Jason said in a very faint voice. Sophia started crying even more after Jason had finished asking, "She's gone Jason, your mother tried to stop it….she tried to contain the explosion everything went white I am sorry." Jason couldn't comprehend what she was saying until he saw it. What seems like the last bit of evidence that should have been destroyed was left on the ground where his mother stood, a single bracelet she never took off. She promised on the day of his 11th birthday she would give it to him since it was a family heirloom. As his mind began to slip into confusion and chaos he couldn't remember what happened as if his memories were lost. As darkness crept up on him quickly, his consciousness fading all he could think of was that he was the cause of her death. He was the reason she was gone.

4 Years Later

Setting: Cumbria, Scafell Pike, England

"Jason...how long do you intend on keeping me waiting I would like to visit the falls soon before father calls you in." She said in a chuckle "Your birthday and mine are tomorrow I guarantee he is doing something special for you and I." Sophia said with a happy tone. Jason stood at the edge of the trail looking over the city, his green eyes peering off into space wondering if there was something more to….. However, his mind was snapped back into reality by Sophia, whos face suddenly appeared in front of his. Sophia was Jason's cousin, she had this weird aurora that made him think of a proud noble eagle. She has round blue eyes that are like two sapphires. Her luxurious, straight, scarlet hair is worn in a style that reminds you of a mysterious mask. She is very tall and has a wasp-waisted build. Her skin is white. She has a strong chin and large hands. Her wardrobe is simple, with a lot of red and white.

After what seemed like over an hour, they had reached the summit of the falls they both peered over the falls together looking at the city. Sophia, of course, broke the silence, "I am guessing your thinking about Hogwarts huh?" Jason stood silent for a bit, his lips finding the words to say to his cousin. He was hesitant he didn't know what to think. All he knew was this city Scafell Pike, nothing felt more at home than here after what happened 4 years ago. The day was still foggy filled with sorrow and regret, "I don't know Sophia. I really don’t know how to feel, I just hope that you and I will be in the same school. Seems no matter what we are always together watching each other back. Thank you." Jason said with a small grin, his hair moving with the wind in front of his face hiding his eyes still peering to the distance. Sophia came closer to Jason and placed her hand against his "No matter what cuz we will always be together best friends forever, plus it would be silly if they didn't put us in the same house." She said while chuckling again. Bells started ringing in the distance as the sun began to set. Sophia spoke again her voice a little bit sterner than usual, "I guess its time for us to see what dad wants huh? Let's go and not make him wait, he's probably super excited. I heard from one of the maids that our letters came in and he waiting to present them to us tonight. However, we cant open them till midnight since we both turn eleven tomorrow." Jason nodded as he began to proceed with Sophia down the trail of the waterfall.

Several Hours Later

Setting: Snider Residence

Laughter filled the air as dancing can be seen everywhere. Food of all different kinds was being passed around and the aromas made any mouth drool with excitement. However, with the festivities happening down below Jason and Sophia were high in the mayor's room. Jason and Sophia stood next to each other in their formal attire, both their hairs were done nice and you can tell the two they went above and beyond to make a presence in front of the man they were about to meet. After standing for about 5 minutes a sound of what was the heavy door opening and closing seemed to echo a bit in the room they were in. A hand was felt upon each of their shoulders, "Kids you don't have to be so stiff around your old man, you'll make me seem like I am a scary person." Laughter can be heard in his voice as he spoke to them and the tension that was once there was now gone. "Uncle Vincent," Jason said with glee. They all exchanged hugs and proceeded to the balcony of his office overseeing the entire city. Jason watched him closely, Uncle Vincent was a noble wizard man whose dignity makes you think of him as a king. He has the same eyes as he did but they were colder, which seem to always see right through you whenever you stare at him for too long. His luxurious, straight, snow-white hair is shoulder-length and is worn in a handsome, dignified style. He is tall and has a thin build. His skin is white. He has full lips. His wardrobe is uncomplicated and businesslike, with a completely black and silver color scheme which seems to be the family colors.

"I am so excited for you both, to be accepted into Hogwarts you both will have great adventures together after today. I hope you both are prepared, I already ordered all your things we just need to travel down to Diagon Alley in the morning to grab your wands. But, besides that, I wanted to let you know Jason." Uncle Vincent at first started strong in his speech, but, he heard it. The man that carried so much weight in this city someone who he respected and cherished most started to speak hesitantly in a very soft voice. He then saw his Uncle shed a tear as he continued speaking “My sister would have been proud of you....the both of you. Here, my boy, your mom did say it was yours when you turn eleven so when the time is right put it on. Well, I won't keep you two, I know you're both eager to talk about your adventures at Hogwarts. Remember be kind and respectful." Jason took the bracelt from his Uncle and Sophia nodded politely. Uncle Vincent then sent them on their way before speaking as Jason got to the door, “Jason, please take it easy on yourself it was just an accident your mom would've understood. I know she doesn't blame you at all. Take care of yourself and Sophia she seems to be the one keeping you grounded through it all. Maybe, this can be the start of something new for you." Jason heard his Uncle and smiled at him before nodding and leaving. Laughter could be still heard echoing in the halls as they both ran down the corridors of the castle to their rooms to start discussing classes and studies. However, as laughter filled the air despair and hatred seemed to be brewing around a dark tavern far away from the festivities. Figures began to gather around a table, one by one they appeared as the last figure appeared all seem to grow silent as only his eyes could be seen. Bright emerald green they were, they shined so brightly it seemed as if they were an only light source in the room. The air in the tavern seemed to be getting colder as this man began to draw breath to speak and as he spoke even the figure that arrived began to lower their head in fear. "Vincent Snider, my little brother. I will finish what I started a long time ago and be the only one left to inherit what our parents left behind. Be prepared for war." His chilling voice lingered in the night as the full moon shined brightly over the night sky. With good, there must be evil.
