Aspen is tall for her age, standing at five foot three. She's considered very skinny. The girl has short brown hair that ends at the bottom of her chin. She has grey-ish blue-ish eyes. She's pale but has a sort of natural blush in her cheeks. She also has freckles.

Personality description
Penny is kind of known as "the quiet girl" When in reality, she doesn't feel the need to talk to others. Though, she will if they interest her in any way. She can come off as a bit rude, but it's just how she is. She isn't meaning to be rude or act shy, it's just her nature. Aspen can be described as witty, sarcastic, or sly. Though, she is a bit too trusting of people.

History
Aspen grew up with a pureblood mother named Amelie, and a squib father named Erik. Erik's brother was accepted into Hogwarts, but he wasn't.. it wasn't just that, it was that everyone in Erik's family was a wizard or witch, except for Erik. Erik vowed to hate all witches and wizards...
And then he met Aspen's mother, Amelie. Erik didn't know that Amelie was a witch, so, he married her. Amelie had to keep her being a witch to herself, in fear that Erik would divorce Amelie. And then, one day, in Aspen's summer vacation, Amelie decided to hang out with her friends, who were all witches and wizards while Erik was at work. Aspen had caught a bit of their conversation. Apparently, Amelie had been extremely worried, due to not knowing whether Aspen would be accepted to Hogwarts. Amelie would have to tell Erik sooner or later.
She decided it would happen later...
One day, not on her birthday, when Aspen was in school, she kept getting tapped on the back with someone's pencil. She kept ignoring it, until the kid jabbed her in the back harder. The small girl whipped around, and told him to stop firmly. He did, but then, the next day, the kid did it again. Aspen had enough, and as she was turning around to tell him to stop, the pencil snapped into a bunch of little pieces. The kid gasped, and screamed witch at Aspen. Aspen didn't know what to do, so she turned around, and tried to cover herself, and not be seen. But, the kid behind her continuously screaming witch made it hard to do so. Every since, people would walk past her and whisper witch, until a group of people approached her, chanting witch. Aspen screamed at them to shut up, to which they would keep chanting, but no noise would come out. Aspen ran. She ran all the way home, which, lucky for her, wasn't far. She then noticed that it was too early for her to return home. So, she stayed behind their house until her school day ended, and then she rushed inside her house.
Not a full month had past when she got her Hogwarts letter. Aspen was ecstatic, but had no idea why her father seemed enraged, and her mother was crying. Amelie's predictions were right, Erik did divorce Amelie immediately. He immediately moved away, and remarried a muggle. A few days later, Amelie had worked up the courage to sell their house, take all the muggle money she had, and move to a wizard city. She had gotten a job there, and was immediately ecstatic. Their life was turning around.
