Evan was born to a Pure Blood family, of reasonable wealth. This family was quick to tell Evan about the origins of magic and what his abilities were, and and he became excited from a very early age. What intrigued him most was "Apparation", which was apparently the art of teleportation, but he wasn't familiar enough with magic yet to know.

Still, he was set on something and made sure he put in the work to get it. In his life, he was intrigued by the art of muggle life. How they could cope with such a normal life. He had never lived this normal life, and sometimes became partially annoyed he would never know how it felt like to be a muggle.

However, he learnt to be grateful for being a wizard, it wasn't something you'd commonly see in someone. He treated it like a gift, and always seemed to find an answer from his parents, and felt fortunate to have the information. However, he often had a bad temper, which caused a few fights every now and then, but that was just growing up.

When he turned ten, he began counting down the days until his Hogwarts letter would appear in the post. He was the most excited man known to the world, he said. The idea of practicing magic of all things in a castle of all places sounded like a fairy tale in his eyes, but he was very glad it wasn't in this world.
