Shelby Clark is an interesting girl. She dyed her hair pink once as a dare, can speak five languages fluently, and does parkour for fun.
She was born in Florida as the third daughter of her parents. Both of them are muggles and had four children, Yasmine, M'kena, Shelby, and Nathaniel. Her parents are normal, hardworking individuals who just want their children to be happy. Shelby went to a Gifted School for kids, which is where she was encouraged to learn and embrace her talents. When she moved to London she did online schooling there until she was able to go to Hogwarts in Scotland.
Her family had no idea about any magic backgrounds and were very surprised to find out that one of their daughters was a witch. They found out during a hiking trip and her brother nearly fell over a cliff but she stopped him, when she was nine years old. Wizards in America found her and she was introduced to the wizarding world, something that amazes her to this day. Her parents are the only ones who know about her magic blood. Meeting other kids like her, Shelby heard so many stories about Hogwarts, despite there being similar schools in America. After getting permission from her parents and the Ministry, she went to go stay with relatives in England so she could go to school at Hogwarts. She has an Aunt in London who acts as her guardian.
Shelby likes to be thought of as kind. She has a lot of love to give and wants to spread it around. She doesn't like to be mean and treats others how she would want to be treated. She likes to try a lot of things and have fun, she isn't afraid to be daring, speak out, or test her luck, because she knows life is short. She's seen a lot of bad things but always thought of the good in the future, which kept her happy and grateful. Shelby is renown for her carelessness. She isn't that tidy and often leaves a mess in her wake.
Shelby likes to style her hair, and color it especially. At the moment it's her naturally dark brown; straightened her hair is to her waist but it's natural state is to her shoulders. Her eyes are chocolate brown. She's mixed, her mother being half-black and half Puerto Rican while her father is half-white and half Black. Shelby's skin is russet, reddish-brown that light freckles that are only noticeable up close or in bright lighting. She has her ears double pierced but usually only wears two earrings. She has the face and the build of a young eleven year old girl, standing at 4'9" and weighing about 70 lbs. She is most commented on her pretty smile and her beautiful laugh.
