Reina Grace Wallace

Reina is 11 years old and lives with her Aunt Marie in London. Her mother was a witch and her father was a muggle. When both parents died in a car crash when Reina was three. She then moved from her homeland, Ireland, to her father’s home country, England. She first learned of her ability to use magic when she was 10 years old on Christmas Eve. She had found a stray cat, wounded on the side of the road. Reina has accidentally healed it when she tried to pick it up. Of course her aunt wouldn’t allow her to keep it, but she did explain to Reina that her mother could also use magic. Just a few months after her birthday on March 30th, Reina received her letter to Hogwarts. She is very quiet and doesn’t say much due to having lived in a library most of her life. Reina is very sweet and patient when you get to know her, but she usually acts reserved and untrusting around new people. She will try to distance herself from crowds and noise, but she’s completely fine just talking to a friend or two. Reina is often seen with a book (especially one about magical creatures) and can often be found by a window reading when she’s not studying. Her favorite color is blue, despite what some people would assume. If she’s not in her school uniform, she will most likely wear some shade of blue. She loves charms class and care for magical creatures, mainly because of her great love for animals and nature. She tries her best in her classes, but strongly dislikes potions class. Although she knows she can’t have a pet her first year, she’s always wanted a cat, especially after her experience that Christmas. Unfortunately, due to her living in a library, she was never aloud. Reina is about 5’1. She has long, wavy red hair that goes a little over half way down her back. She also has bluish grey eyes and extremely pale skin.

Marie Harper Wallace
(Reina’s aunt)

Marie was born on August 17th, 1979, to Elizabeth Rose and Oliver Joseph Wallace. She grew up very close to her older brother, Benjamin James Wallace, having only three years between them. She was raised in a muggle family and knew nothing of the wizard of world until she was 22 years old when her brother got married to a girl he met at his grad school in Ireland. She had always hoped he would return from Ireland someday, but when he got married, he moved there. In the seven years that Marie never heard from Ben, she ended up living by herself and opening a library. She found that it was a good way to earn a living without there being too much noise. In 2008, she received an unexpected letter from her brother, announcing that he had a newborn daughter. Marie didn’t think much of it. It’s not like she’d ever actually meet this girl. However, three years later, Benjamin and his wife both died in a car accident. Marie found out a week after it happened and her heart broke. Despite having fallen out of contact with him, she was still close with him. She received another letter shortly after saying that her niece, Benjamin’s daughter, had to live with her. When the girl arrived, she was quite the opposite of what one would expect. She was quiet and showed almost no emotion. She only spoke when spoken to. As the next few years went by, Marie got to know the girl a little better and treated her like she was one of her own children. Although she was never married and never had any children, she managed to figure out parenting rather quickly. When Reina was ten years old, only a week or two before Reina’s birthday, Marie took the girl out for a walk through London, where the girl would experience her first sparks of magic. When they got back to the library, Marie went to her desk and pulled out one of the letters Benjamin wrote to her. He had explained to her that his new wife could use magic, but of coarse she never believed it until now. When she showed Reina the letter, about 50 emotions crossed the girls face: confusion, excitement, worry, joy, and many others. That was the most emotion she had ever seen from Reina. About a week after Reina’s 11th birthday, a letter came with the girl’s name on it. It was her letter to Hogwarts. Of coarse Marie had no idea what any of this was, but Reina seemed to be excited. That August, Marie took Reina to the train station, excited that she could have such an amazing opportunity, but not wanting her to go so far away.
