Tara is a kind girl with light brown hair tied up in a high ponytail and hazel eyes. She was born to an Irish wizard father and a muggle mother in Canada. When she was young, her father died and she grew up not knowing about the Wizarding World. When she was 11, she received a surprising letter from Hogwarts. By now, Tara had been showing signs of magic and never felt like she belonged in the normal world. Finally, her father's side of the family revealed the truth about her magical ancestry. Even though she lived in Canada, Tara was sent a Hogwarts letter instead of a Ilvermorny because her father was a respected Alumni. She was then sent to stay with relatives in Yorkshire, England so it would be easier for her to attend Hogwarts.
It is very easy to befriend Tara, as she has a very caring and supportive nature. She likes to make others feel like they belong and strongly believes in the 'treat others the way you'd like to be treated' mentality. She has a good sense of humour and likes to make others laugh. Tara is also quite the talented artist and singer, but doesn't like to tell or show anyone because she doesn't think she is very good. She can get a bit nervous and anxious in unknown situations and will try to avoid any confrontation if she can. She has a huge love of animals and likes to spend as much time with them as she can. She was never that good in school because of her anxiousness as well as her ability to get lost in daydreams. Although she is nervous, she is also excited and curious to experience all the wizarding world has to offer.
