Personality: Elizabeth Linscott is a cheerful, adventurous, and very mischevious girl who loves having fun and playing pranks on other people. She was always quite curious about the world, and moreso now that she has discovered that there is really a world full of witches and wizards and she is part of it. Unfortunately, sometimes her curiosity and adventurous personality get her into trouble. On the other hand, Elizabeth is fiercely loyal and will go to great lengths to help her friends.

Appearance: Elizabeth stands about 4'5". She has blue eyes and wavy, dirty blond hair that she usually wears in a braid, ponytail, and even sometimes wacky hairstyles when she feels like it. She hates having it in her face.

History: Elizabeth lived a fairly ordinary life before coming to Hogwarts. She lived with her mother and father and younger sister (age 6) in Wisconsin, and would frequently hang out with her friends from school. Her favorite activities included biking, swimming, playing with her dog, Skipper, exploring the woods near her house, climbing trees, and rollerblading. She also lived building snowmen, snow forts, and going sledding down the largest hill in town.

Magical First Appearance: Like many witches and wizards, Elizabeth showed her magical ability early, in strange, unexplainable ways. The first time was when she was three and had asked her mother for a cookie. Her mother had said no. Unhappy with the answer, Elizabeth had stomped off to her bedroom and sat down, grabbing the stuffed bunny she usually held when she was upset. When she picked it up, she found three cookies under it, which she happily ate. Then, when she stood up to play with some of her toys she had left on the ground, she found another smooshed cookie where she had been sitting. Then, under her bed were several more cookies. After that, Elizabeth started looking all over the room to find more cookies, and pretty soon she had a dozen cookies all around her. Her mother had been shocked and angry to find the little girl sitting in her room, munching on the cookies. Elizabeth had tried to explain that she found them, but with the cookie jar no longer full of cookies, Elizabeth's mother didn't believe her and she was punished. For years, her mother had wondered how her daughter had managed to sneak all those cookies right under her nose (she hadn't left the kitchen, and had clearly seen them sitting in the jar moments earlier). From then on, if she didn't want Elizabeth to have something, she kept it hidden out of view.
