Lydia Chambers was born in South East London, England. Her father Benjamin Chambers, works as an Auror within the ministry of magic. Her mother Eleanor Chambers, stays at home and looks after the house and keeps everything in check. Lydia looks a lot like her mother. Big, curly, red hair with beautiful deep blue eyes. Light freckles painted across her pale face. Small and skinny in structure. Many mistake her for her mother's sister. However, she is much more like her dad in personality. Witty, sarcastic, blunt. Lydia says what she wants and when she wants. Although she is very good natured and just wants to make people around her laugh and relaxed. In her life she strives to learn and experience everything. Being very intelligent she is very willing to take every opportunity that comes her way. Very outgoing and friendly.

When she was five she got angry and had a tantrum because her parents wouldn't let her get a puppy. From this tantrum came her father's trouser leg being set on fire. This was her first display of her magical power. Soon after that she got a puppy (an Australian Shepherd, called Max) and her parents were so proud of her. Through the years her parents taught her how to control her emotions and through that she learned how to control her magic. As a child she couldn't wait for Hogwarts and to finally see her full potential.
