Dexter Javier and Zennie were best friends that grew up in a muggle orphanage in Cheshire, England since both of their parents had given them up at the same time. They would look out for each other by protecting themselves from punishments and bullies. When they were 18, they ran away from the orphanage, got married, and journeyed into the closest city in England. While on the run, they bumped into a kind wizard who took them in and offered them jobs as apprentices. While sorting through books, Dexter found a book on wizard families and noticed how one of the families looked like Zennie. The next day, he told Zennie and they both confronted the wizard. The wizard explained the wizarding world while mentioning that Zennie was born as a squib to a pureblood family that gave her away. With a constant demand, the wizard reluctantly agreed to take them to the wizarding world. Zennie and Dexter took turns working and searching for Zennie's family. When they moved to Manchester, England with hopes of better jobs, they put their plans on a halt when Zennie gave birth to a baby boy with black hair, blue eyes, and tan skin. They assumed he would be an normal baby as he didn't show any signs as a baby or a toddler. They became very close until they decided to continue finding Zennie's family. They had to send him out of the wizarding world and into a muggle boarding school, so they could remain focus on their objective. Unbeknownst to them, he would use his powers around his muggle friends and became very popular for his astonishing "magic tricks". This shaped him into a friendly, but conceited person. When they finally discovered Zennie's long lost family, they became close again, despite Zennie insisting that she kept the two families apart until she knew them better. While home alone for the summer, he received a letter from Hogwarts. When his parents returned home, they didn't believe him until he showed them the letter. They regretted not spending more time with their own son while on a wild goose chase for Zennie's family. They spent the rest of the summer together, dreading the day they would watch their son leave. On the other hand, John is curious about this new world and its mysteries.
