Description: Her long dark brown hair is usually wore mostly framing and obscuring part of her face, most often covering one eye, unless this could become a hazard during certain classes, in which case she will pull some of it back and use clips or a headband to hold the rest away. Has green eyes, stands fairly shortly at 4’6, being quite slim and fairly pale skinned.

Background:The only child of a muggleborn father and a halfblood mother, each coming from families with a tradition on the respective side of medicine, Sara was able to blend in rather well from early on in the non-magical side of her hometown. She attended a local primary school and did fairly well, even making a few friends despite her already then shy nature and other obvious difficulties involved.

Whilst the majority of her childhood was pretty happy,  Everything changed a few months before she was set to start studying at Hogwarts . Lila, the youngest daughter of one of her father’s cousins, to whom Carrie was paticularly close to, sudden came down with a terrifying illness that had no known cure by muggle medicine and rapidly deteriorated. One day while she was visiting the younger girl, to whom she was particularly close, Carrie became overcome with sorrow upon seeing her dreary condition and end up having a bout of accidental magic, which knocked out some of the life-supporting equipment out of commission for a while, possibly contributing to Lila’s death shortly after, although she was already pretty terminal at this stage, so it might have happened either way. Despite her parents’ effort, she has always felt guilty about it and this was not helped by the reactions from the members of her mother’s family that knew about magic. At other times, they also were sure that her parents could have done something about by magical means before it ever got to that point, even though this was risky due to the Statute of Secrecy and not certain to have worked. In any case, this ended up causing quite a rift between the two sides of her family

Personality: Prior to her ill-fated incident with accidental magic, Carrie was already fairly shy, but still quite cheerful, bubbly and able to warm up to most people fairly quickly. She has always enjoyed reading and writing ever since she learnt to, loved to take care of animals and from somewhat early dreamed of following her family’s footsteps and help lots of people as a healer. Afterwards, she became much more withdrawal. Whereas before she was rather excited to soon start learning magic, Carrie then became terrified, specially of it hurting anyone else. She now finds it harder to connect with people, although, once someone is able to get past the initial awkwardness, they will likely find her to be rather friendly and warm. Tends to do fairly well at telling how people are feeling and is a good, empathetic listener. Tends to not do too well in crowded places. Meek and cowardly, but will do her best to try to overcome for the sake of someone else’s well-being. Carrie is deeply afraid of losing anyone else, especially in her presence while she is helpless to do anything about it and/or having caused the situation. She will anything she can to help anyone in trouble, need or suffering, be it physical or emotional, but can so wrapped in it that she might likely not to consider the consequences or get resented by someone who might not actually want/need it. Can also place everyone else’s well-being above her own to the point of neglecting herself.
