Once upon a time lived a wizard named Erik who fell in love with the sea in more then one way as this tale will tell. You see as a child he was nothing special about the lad his father was a fishermen and his mom a steam-stress. His father was born from magical bloodline that he gave up when he married his wife.
Fast forward to when Erik was a young graduate of Hogwarts. He study aboard near his hometown that was always his first love even as a boy. Erik started hearing others about a lovely young women who had washed ashore . The claims where that the sea rejected her and anyone who helped her would be cursed. Erik town was a bunch of idiots to be honest though he always knew there was a tiny bit of truth in ever lie.
Ignoring all their warning even the one of his parents he ran without hesitation to the beach . Erik’s eyes instantly shot around the beach and that’s where his eyes fell onto the most beautiful creature he had ever seen . Not even , his time at Hogwarts was there such a magical moment as this.
Erik ran to her side as he picked her up and took her to his parents home until she regain consciousness. When she awoke she told him she was a siren cursed by her kind to never be able to return to the sea. The two of them ended up falling In love and having a beautiful baby girl named Roseline .
The family was frowned upon by the wizard world as well as Erik’s parents . Roseline grew up in a lighthouse over looking the sea that both of her parents loved . It wasn’t a bad life her parents gave her all the love and attention she needed ,but something in her longed for adventure . Rosey was just a klutz her mother joked that she got that from her father’s side of the family . She also would wonder off for long periods of time getting lost until her parents had to come find her.
The girl was a curious as a cat and would almost get into trouble daily for it. Her parents didn’t know what to do with her until her father reached out to a old friend for help . Erik friends suggested Hogwarts would be the perfect place ,but they would have to hide the fact she was part Siren. So when her 11th birthday came she got a letter to Hogwarts . Her mother gave her a charm that would protect her from her siren blood showing .
No one can know she’s part siren for her own protection.
