The Lion, And The Flaming Cub
[PV with Professor Ackerley Blackburn]
Siege stood outside the classroom, hoping that Professor Blackburn hadn't noticed him slip out. Siege thought that the lesson the other day was interesting, but right now, the professor just has the students practicing some spell...Pretty time wasting to be honest...So he decided to just sit out here and wait for class to end...I mean it was pretty smart to just chill out there. He's not likely to get caught being so close to a classroom, and the professor is presumably preoccupied with students.
It was hard being the last Bal...Even if his blood is of the prestigious family of Bal, they've been gone since the second Wizarding War...It's as if they were shipped off to another planet, only leaving the demon of a trouble maker: Siege.
The school probably kept records of each student's past...Well...It was quite the wonder as to how Siege even got invited to Hogwarts... He had gotten into his first fight at the age of five or six, and just kept up his troublesome act, eventually labeled to have a troublesome future...That was until he was adopted by Commander Edward Tullius, who promised the scared nuns of the orphanage to "Straighten him out"...Edward treated Siege as he would, if he had a son...Although that meant, that every time Siege got into a fight, and he would hear about it(And he almost always did) would punish Siege, not with beatings, but with intense physical straining...
Once, Siege got into a fight with a teacher, and he came home, only to be forced to run six miles in Glasgow, with his Stepfather threatening to make him run more, should Edward catch up to him...Yeah, freaking terrifying all right...Although soon Siege would come to be fond of the old man, considering him to be a father to him, that always corrected him, and would know what's best for him...
Although now...he's not here...Siege has been getting into countless of troubles since then...It was damn well surprising that no teacher has approached him about things yet...Though at the same time Siege found it pretty unsurprising...No one wants a devil-may care student, who could potentially burn down the school with his flames...No one wanted responsibility for that...Siege didn't really care though...After all...No one cares, only but the Devil that's inside the boy...

The Lion, And The Flaming Cub
Today, Ackerley had decided to start doing some practices with his students. Last week has been a fully theoretical class and the young man preferred to do activities in teams. Its allowed them to explore new sides of magic which were funnier but were also giving them some sort of basic experiences. It was why he creates some for this second class. Once he had spoken about this, Ackerley could have sworn he saw some stars in the eyes of his students. Perhaps, this class would be interesting. On another hand, the man was good with details and nothing could really escape his sharp eyes. From the back of the room, Ackerley could clearly see Siege Aramastus Bal, one of his students who happened to be in Gryffindor, looking pretty much uninterested with his class. A troublesome one, some said. However, even after seeing his record, the man was finding it hards to place the young boy in this category.
Therefore, Ackerley had not made any statement about his lack of concentration and returned his attention to the other students. Perhaps he would keep him after class to speak with him about the matter. Charms were important if the students wanted to achieve some specific choice of career. It was not a class to take lightly even if most of the time, the charms professor would speak about it in that way. The class was going smoothly and most of the students had mastered or so the charm they have been working on. Globally, it was a great day.
- Alright, everyone, the class is done! I will then see you next week! Do not forget to study the charm we just practiced but most importantly, do not forget your homework!
The students were now leaving the class. Some would be going for their free period and others were probably going to their Defence Against the Dark Arts class. Ackerley could already feel their pain. He remembered when he himself was taking the class of professor Mellowrose. It was something he would never forget. Quite a traumatizing event! Sighing, the professor decided to look for Siege that had slowly escaped his class while he was looking away. Unfortunately for the young boy, Ackerley had a pretty good peripheral vision. It was why he has been able to see the boy running away from his lesson. The Gryffindor boy seems like he would be trouble.
The man tidied his office and took Denise to lay her down on his shoulder. He was now ready to search the boy. Slowly passing through his classroom door, something caught his attention. Indeed, Siege was there, outside of the classroom. He was sitting down on the floor, which made the professor wonder about his intention. Why would he stay that close to the class if he wanted to leave it? Surely he would have thought about this and would not want any detention. It was really something that was illogical for him. Ackerley walked toward him and decided to sit down too. It was now the time to have a talk with the boy. Perhaps, he would find some way to make him interested in his class?
- Mister Bal, I can see that you decided to leave my lovely class while I was not looking. Do you have any explanation for this? Surely, detention was not your goal?
Carefully, the man studied his student's features. He looked troubled. However, the professor did not take this into consideration and was waiting for the boy's answer. He would make his own opinion of him and would not follow his colleague comments on him. After all, everyone deserved a chance. At least, it was what Blackburn has always thought. Judging someone from his behavior only would never be something great. Most of the time, there was an explanation to this and it was what Ackerley would be trying to find out. After all, there was nothing more than he despised than injustice.

The Lion, And The Flaming Cub
- Mister Bal, I can see that you decided to leave my lovely class while I was not looking. Do you have any explanation for this? Surely, detention was not your goal?" The voice of the man echoed along the halls, along with many voices that the other students carried with them as they walked to where they needed to be.
"Hmn...It never usually is sir." Siege just answers, boredly looking at the professor, a look that he usually had. He carried his bored expression as always, like he just doesn't care, and people who don't care...well those people definitely are the ones to watch out for. Siege is definitely someone who carries a devil-may-care attitude with many things, and Charms Class today was just one of them...Plus, he was pretty distracted with something that happened a couple days ago...
"As for an explanation...well, I don't really have an excuse, I just found today boring, and just simply didn't wanna spend the rest of my time wasted on 'Practice'..." Said Siege, despite his bored look, and lazy answer, he carried a tone of confidence, as if telling the world "Bring it on.. He also answered pretty damn truthfully, he was never one to lie to make someone feel better, It really depends on his mood...If he was feeling pretty damn sh**ty, he was just gonna say whatever he thinks...And he was in a pretty damn sh**ty mood.
The boy at this point was already standing, hands in his pocket, and from a distance definitely a boy with the signs of "TROUBLE" pointed at him from every direction. Siege grew up in an orphanage, quickly learning to fight to survive during the days, as he would spend most of his time in the city. He lived his life as a fighter, hell, even scaring some of the nuns from the orphanage...He's got that bad-boy scent with him unlocked.
Plus...well, if the school did keep records...They should know about the inferno. The likelihood he was to attend this school without that was pretty damn slim. The flames he carried are both curse and gift... Those same flames got him in this school, and although he's not one to be self-conscious, he still desires to prove anyone against him wrong, even if it meant changing.
"Siege, remember: You better damn behave, or I'm gonna make you run around the city for five times!..." The image of Edward holding in his tears, as his only son, albeit fostered, left for Hogwarts. Siege didn't know that Edward was holding tears of joy for his son, as in that world, Siege knew nothing of friendship, often being avoided by everyone, because of the unapproachable look he carried. In this newfound world, Siege will be given another chance to experience friendship...maybe even love...Siege has found one of them, and finding out the other one, will only be more painful, especially since...
*Damn, dad...I found a friend and I lost her...What an as***le I am, right? Hell I don't even know what the hell I did...That's how much of jerk I am... Do I just not care enough? That's why I don't remember?*
